I can't believe I called Demi mom, I honestly never thought that I would. The biggest smile appeared on her face when I did so I guess if it makes her happy I'll keep doing it. I went to get up and my phone starts ringing.
Hannah: hello?
Hannah's dad: Hannah
Hannah: oh hi
Hannah's dad: what happened to keeping in contact?
Hannah: the past few weeks have been busy I couldn't
Hannah's dad: busy as in how?
Hannah: mom got married and went on her honeymoon and then the house caught on fire and just a lot
Hannah's dad: you could've found time to call me

Hannah's dad: you can't call her mom she's not biologically your mom
Hannah: she adopted me therefore she's my adoptive mom so she's my mom therefore I call her mom
Hannah's dad: I still don't think you should be calling her mom

Hannah: she can listen in on our conversation she's my mom
Hannah's dad: I really want you to come stay with us for a while

Hannah: she, has a name. It's Demi why don't you use it and believe me she's trying
