**VINCENTS POV**
Weeks went by and Annabelle was still not awake. The doctors took her off of sedation a week after the incident happened and said her body would wake up if and when it was ready. It has been a month now and it's been the hardest and longest month by far.During the day her parents and my parents and even our friends came by to visit Annabelle and the baby but at night it was just the three of us.
"Anna baby today makes a month since I've heard your voice. Our son is a month old today. He looks like your twin, I still haven't named him because I can't do that without you. I wish you would open your eyes. Come back to me." I begged in a voice just above a whisper. All day I held her hand begging her to wake up, but like every other time before nothing happened.
I wasn't even sure if she could hear me, and part of me felt foolish for hoping that she could.
The baby started crying making me focus my attention on him. I picked him up and rocked him back and forth soothing him.
"Shhh it's okay buddy." I whispered and he slowly stopped crying. I was getting the hang of being a dad and tending to the baby but I couldn't wait for Annabelle to wake up and for us all to be a family.
"Enzo." I heard a voice from behind me and I turned around and saw Annabelles eyes open as she stared at me and the baby in awe.
**ANNABELLES POV**
White. That's all I could see with my eyes closed. I had no idea where I was, or what happened. I remember arguing with Lorenzo and then everything went black. I knew I went in and out of consciousness. I could hear people talking and mumbling, I could even hear my son crying but every time I tried forcing myself to open my eyes, I couldn't. I grew frustrated with myself for not being able to do a simple thing like opening my eyes."Anna baby today makes a month since I've heard your voice. Our son is a month old today. He looks like your twin. I wish you would open your eyes. Come back to me." I heard Vincent's voice from a distance. I tried so hard to pry my eyes open but I couldn't. I felt so weak and cold. I heard the baby crying and Vincent got up to calm him down. I kept trying to open my eyes and finally bright lights overwhelmed my eyes.
"Enzo." I croaked out and I searched the room until my eyes landed on Vincent holding our son. My heart overflowed with an overwhelming love that I can't even explain in words. When Vincent heard my voice his head snapped my direction.
"You're awake?" He beamed with excitement as he rushed over to the side of my bed.
"Yes I'm awake you idiot. Now give me my son." I teased him and you could see his body visually relax.
"Oh Anna I'm so glad you're awake! Baby I've been so worried about you." Tears pooled in Vincent's eyes and I realized by looking at him just how miserable he seemed. He hadn't shaved his face at all since I've been out and he had bags under his eyes.
He laid our son in my arms and my heart melted beyond repair. He looked at me with his grayish blue eyes and he instantly smiled. Vincent was right he is my twin except he had his nose.
"Hello Enzo." I cooed. Vincent looked at me strangely and before he could even ask I answered him already knowing what he was going to ask.
"Enzo like Lorenzo, after my brother." I explained and he nodded his head in understanding.
"I gathered that. He saved your life after all, he deserves it. What about a middle name?" Vincent asked and I smiled weakly at him.
"Vincent." I answered and a tearful smile spread across his face. He reached over and grabbed my hand and squeezed it gently.
