"Can I look now?" I asked itching in my seat. We were in the limo leaving the reception. The reception was absolutely perfect but now that it's over I couldn't wait to go on our honeymoon. My mom volunteered to watch Enzo while we're gone and even though it was hard to leave him I knew we needed this time away just the two of us."For the hundredth time, no. Now be patient woman we are almost there." Vincent teased from beside me.
"At lease you can see!" I retorted uneasily. Finally the car came to a stop. Vincent took my hand as he helped me out of he backseat of our limo grabbing my other hand so I couldn't take off the blindfold, he knew me so well because I would have taken it off the second I had the chance.
We walked for a few feet and then we started to walk up some stairs.
"Watch your step." Vincent kindly ushered me up the steps. When we were finally up the steps we walked a few more feet and then the blindfold was removed from my face. I looked around, confusion taking over.
"We're on a plane?" I asked dumbfounded.
"Yes." Was Vincent's calm reply. I looked around and the plane was really a private jet. There were no other people on it except for me and Vincent and the two pilots.
"Oh." I trailed off even more confused because I had no idea where we were going. I was in charge of planning the wedding and Vincent took care of the honeymoon. Every time I tried to get any information he would always tell me 'it's a surprise' he even packed my suitcase that stubborn man.
"Don't worry this jet is going to get us there in half the time. We will only be on this plane for five hours." Vincent led us to two recliner chairs and I kicked off my high heels bending down to massage my aching feet. Whoever invented the thought of high heels on a wedding night is an idiot. My feet felt like throbbing sausages.
Vincent walked over to an over night bag that was in the counter. He unzipped it and pulled out an oversized tshirt and some boxers and returned back beside me.
"Go get comfortable it's going to be a long flight and even though you look breathtaking I don't want you to be uncomfortable." He pecked me on the cheek. I took the clothes greedily and made my way into the huge bathroom. There were granite and marble counter tops and a huge walk in shower with ceiling shower heads.
"Holy shit!" I beamed excitedly and I could hear Vincent laugh from outside the cracked bathroom door.
"You don't miss much do you?" Vincent yelled from outside with a hint of amusement in his voice.
"Shut up." I teased as I carefully unzipped my wedding dress stepping out of it careful to not damage it. I quickly slipped into the comfortable clothes and hung my wedding dress up in the closet outside the bathroom. I walked back over to Vincent who had already changed and was sitting in his seat. He grabbed my hand and pulled me into his lap. I snugged up beside him and laid my head on his chest letting his heartbeat calm my nerves.
"Get some rest darling its been a long day and it's going to be a long flight." He yawned and pulled a blanket over the top of us and we fell asleep in each other's arms.
"Anna wake up my love, we've landed." Vincent shook me gently and woke me up. I groggily sat up and stretched while my eyes adjusted to the light.
"What time is it?" I asked my voice full of sleep.
"It's about three thirty in he morning. He glanced at his phone screen and answered me.
"Where are we?" I asked curiously, knowing he wouldn't tell me.
"Now you know that's a surprise!" He smirked and pulled the blindfold from his back pocket and gently slid it into my face.
"You don't play fair, paybacks a bitch just remember that." I warned him seriously planning my revenge.
"I'm not playing Annabelle, I have a surprise for you." He answered from behind me.
"Oh I've got a surprise for you alright." I smiled wickedly when the perfect idea came to mind and I was going to enjoy every minute of it.
"Why do I get the feeling I won't like this surprise?" He asked wearily.
"Oh you'll enjoy it alright." I calmly answered anxiously waiting to carry my plan out.
