Chapter 21

     I woke up in a room. Not my room this room was beautiful. Everything was white and the sunlight shining through the window made the room alot brighter. But why am i here? I looked down at my arm and saw a bandage wrapped around it. I got out of the bed and went to go see if Minara was around. I got out of the room and the house was huge honestly i think it was bigger than sam's and that's hard to believe. "are you lost?" A male voice was heard behind me. Shit. "uh uhm I'm looking for my girlfriend." I replied. "is it the girl with orange hair?" I noded. "sure thing follow me."The guy seemed nice. He had dirty blonde hair tan skin and hazel eyes and a scar in his jawline that creeped the fuck out of me. "here she is.." He walked me into a light purple room. "oh by the way my name is Adam." The kind guy said i shook his hand. "Charlie." With that said he left the room and i waited for Minara to wake up.

     I've been waiting for hours for Minara to wake up.  "Charlie?" I heard Minara's voice as i lifted my head from my hands. "hey sleepy head." She had a scowl. "what? Your still not mad about what happened in the forest are you?" She turned her face to look ahead crossing her arms. "why are you making such a big deal i haven't said shit to you!" She turned to look at me. "exactly, you haven't said anything to me. You haven't been with me. Your treating me more like a fucking stranger than your mate. All you've been doing is obsessing over training and shit. I don't know 'this' guy standing infront of me." She said eyeing me. "this is not my mate. This isn't the guy i fell in love with. Where's that guy with that bubbly personality, out going and fun-" " i haven't changed! Im still the same Charlie. Your just to damn stubborn to realize that just because I'm training doesn't mean I've changed. Her eyes began to water. "no! Don't come to me with that bullshit! You don't even look at me anymore! I don't feel like im sleeping with my mate, it feels like sleeping with a fucking stranger!" The door opened and in came Adam with a girl by his side. They were holding hands so I'm guessing they were mates. "hey is everything alright?" The woman questioned. She had shoulder lenght black hair and grey eyes. "yeah we're fine. I was just leaving." Minara said wiping her tears and standing up. "actually we need a word with you both." Adam said. Me and Minara both turned to look at each other.

Are they rogues? I asked.

Not possible rogues usually don't work together. Especially not with women. This is probably a pack house.

That explains why its so big. "follow me." Adam said we followed him downstairs.

Listen if things get out of hand we make a run for it. I'll turn into my Alitanian form and you fight the dude I'll take the girl.

"take a seat right there." He said pointing at the couch. Me and Minara sat really close to each other. "the alpha will be coming in soon."

They are werewolves. I told her

Try to play dumb like if your human.

"What's an alpha?" Minara questioned. Adam chuckled "we know your not human, a human wouldn't be able to kill a full grown werewolf. And definitely not two." He said pouring whiskey in a cup.

Minara they know were not human. What now?

Well if anything you already had enough practice to fight off, and you know how to fly so we'll leave.

A pair of footsteps were heard coming down the stairs. Me and Minara tensed up as we saw the buff male figure coming down the stairs he had black hair pretty long but not past the shoulders and he had the same grey eyes as the woman that was with Adam. "hello my name is Christopher michaels but you can call me chris for short. I am the alpha of the lunar pack. This is Adam and my sister juliet." He said pointing towards the two people who brought us downstairs. "do you want to tell us your names?" He said standing infront of us. " im Charlie Rogers and shes-" "i can speak for myself, thank you." She said in a mocking tone. "im Minara Vestor" he noded "nice to meet you Charlie, Minara. Now tell me..what are you? cause both of you are definitely not human." me Minara both looked at each other.

Do we tell them? I questioned.

Minara looked down and sighed. "we're.. Alitanians" they all looked at each other without saying anything. They were mind linking. "why were you both in the forest today?" "Rogues." I awnsered. They kept mind linking. "well because you killed Matthew and his sidekicks. Then we'll help you out if you ever have a problem." "who's Matthew?" Minara asked. "the blonde wolf with white fur in the chest." Adam said. "oooh" me and Minara said in unison. "yeah, we kicked him and the other two wolves out of the pack because they were trying to kill the alpha." Juliet said. "now if you ever have a problem you call the lunar pack and we'll come help." Chris said. "thanks we'll call you if anything." I said as Chris gave me his phone number And we left.
