The secret life of Charlie

Chapter 20

     "Rogues" Charlie said almost a whisper. With that said he was off running at full speed into the forest. Great.

     ~ Charlie's pov~

     There were rogues in the area i could smell them about 3. All this practicing was about to pay off. "Charlie wait!" Minara yelled after me. I ignored her. I was craving the taste of blood right now and i was bound to get it. I stopped. "Ch- Charlie-" Minara said out of breath. I covered her mouth once again. "shh there's Rogues around the perimeter"

     I kept quite to see if i could hear any branches breaking. "ouch! What the hell Minara!" Minara had bitten my hand. "I've had it! You've been treating me like a stranger for the past month. Not like your fucking mate!" She stomped angrily and punched my arm. "right now is not the time dont ya think?!" I yelled back at her. " i don't care-" OWWWWW the sound of wolves howling interrupted our discussion. I grabbed Minara by the hand and levitated to the top of a tree branch. 3 huge wolves appeared. One wolf was a caramel brown color with a brown spot around the eye. Another wolf was completely black with light blue eyes and another was full golden color with a white patch in the chest. They were circleling the area for minutes. Minara used telekinesis on a nearby rock and tossed pretty far away which got there attention. They ran towards the noise. We both sighed of relief.

    We got down from the tree and I turned to Minara and noticed she was giving me the cold shoulder. "pft, i don't know why your making such a big deal." I said more to myself than to her. "she turned around to face me, she really was angry. "What do you mean its not a big deal?! You all of a sudden turned bi-polar on me that night that i had that Vilmork dream!" I didn't want to seem so over protective so i didn't tell her why i changed all of a sudden that night of the "Vilmork dream." "you know what i don't want to argue with you so-" she got closer to me i was afraid she would explode my ear drum. "you know what Charlie, i don't care anymore..i don't care if you give up on us." She began to walk away. "hey i did NOT give up on us if anything im trying to save our fucking lives!" I chased after her. "What do you mean!? your not helping at al-" a huge wolf jumped my back which stopped Minara from finishing her sentence. I got out of the golden wolf's hold and punched it in the snout. Which caused it to howl in pain.

     ~ Minara's pov~

     I was about to go help out Charlie when a pair of muscular arms wrap around my mouth and arms. Two naked men were holding me back "shh shh what's gonna happen now, is that your gonna come with us" the man holding my mouth whispered in my ear. I started to freak out and tried to yell out to Charlie but that was stupid since my mouth was covered. Instead i tried scaring them off by turning into my Alitanian form. They seemed to have gotten freaked out since they let go of me. " what the hell is that!?" I heard the man to right with shaggy black hair and blue eyes yell out. "just kill it!" The man with brownish gold color hair and brown eyes yell back. They instantly turned into wolves. And came charging towards me but the hit coming towards me was blocked by Charlie holding them back i turned around to were Charlie was fighting the blonde wolf and saw the animal dead with blood dripping from its mouth. "Minara run!" He yelled back at me while fighting the wolves. "no, i won't leave you!" I said while punching the wolf with a brown spot in its eye. "fuck!" I heard Charlie yell out. He had a black wolf trying to bite a chunk out of his neck while Charlie was holding his jaw back. I used telekinesis on a branch right above the wolf *CRACK CRACK CRACK BOOM* it knocked the wolf out. I turned back into my human from. "Charlie!" I ran over to and pushed the huge wolf off of him. The compact knocked him out. "ugh Charlie are you fricken kidding me? right now!?" I tried shaking him when *BOOM* somebody hit me with a peice of wood. Thats when i remember..i didn't kill the other wolf.
