The secret life of Charlie

Chapter 9

     I woke up in the chair i was sitting next to Minara in the hospital. Minara was still sleeping so i decided to go to the bathroom and refresh a little bit. Thats when i heard screams from were Minara was.

     ~ Minara's Pov ~

     I was resting in complete darkness i appeared in my home town Alitania with my mother and father we were all so happy. That's when the horror came Vilmork had a army of soldiers terrorizing the town "Run Minara get out of here!" My mother yelled at me. I ran for my life as my family was fighting for theirs, why wasn't i going to protect them and help out? i turned around to go help my family out and thats when i saw Vilmork slashing a knife in my fathers chest. My father turned around and looked at me and said "this is all your fault.." The words echoed in my ear. "NOOOO! FATHER IM SORRY!" I dropped down to my knees and began to cry i covered my face with my hands. When i lifted my head i was in a dark place pitch black nothing was seen. "oh thank god it was just a dream." I said in a low voice thats when i felt someones breath on my neck and words sound so clearly. "that's what you think.." Vilmork's voice spoke in my ear. I began to scream in such agony and pain.

Then i woke up to a worried nervous Charlie. Thats when i noticed i was really screaming and crying.

    ~ Charlie's pov~

     I shook Minara to a point were her head almost fell off but she just kept on screaming and crying what do i do! I shook her harder and yelled for her to wake up. "Minara wake up! Wake up!" She opened her now big red and puffy eyes with worry on her face. "jeez Min, what the hell happened! You had me worried!" I hugged her tightly as she sobbed into my bloody white shirt from yesterday. I sat on top of the bed to get closer i just passed my hand through her hair and rubbed her back. "shh shh, now you had a bad dream?" She pulled herself away from my shirt pouted and noded. "can i know what its about?" She sniffed and said "i think Vilmork killed my family!" And she began to cry more. "don't worry that's never gonna happen." I pulled her in for a hug. "does your leg feel better?" I asked. " yes." She pulled the sheets off her legs and showed me a Heald leg with a small scar on the side of her leg. "wow you heal fast! Now do you think we can get out of this hospital and have that talk we were suppose to have yesterday?" She smiled. "sure."

     We checked her out of the hospital but we looked like we were just kidnapped with bloody shirts and ripped pants we needed a clean up. "so were do you live?" I asked. She chuckeled. "not in this planet.." "so were am i suppose to drop you off?" "i don't have a home i don't know?" This was the perfect moment. "well actually, I've been saving money to rent an apartment.. You can move in with me if you want?" Her gloomy face turned into a bright smile. "that's perfect!" But soon that smile faded into worry. "but i don't have any clothing.." She said. I smiled. "oh you dont have to worry about that my aunt and uncle will take care of it." And they would, my aunt was never able to have a child so they loved me as their own. Passing by their place wouldn't bother them at all. Plus they were pretty rich."Don't worry Minara they'll love you, i know aunt sam will always wanna hang out with you and uncle ron will love you as his own." She smiled at the thought. "Well, here we are."

     ~ Minara's pov ~

     "Don't worry Minara they'll love you i know aunt sam will always wanna hang out with you and uncle ron will love you as his own." Charlie told me. A smile slowly started to appear on my face again. I never spent enough time with father since he was always working as the kings guard and my mother was always at chores, i never really remember having a family moment with them, and now I'll never see them again so i would like to have something close to a father and mother figure." Well, here we are." Charlie spoke. We stopped infront of a huge golden gate with a big cusive G in the middle. Charlie put his finger print in this scanner infront of the gate and soon the gates opened for Charlie's car to drive in. "Wooow its beautiful charlie!" I was amazed at the big white mansion with a huge grassy green yard and beautiful fountain. The house had a big wooden front door that looked like the old days but still taken care of. We parked the car and Charlie got off and opened the door for me. "you ready?" He asked. i took a deep breath "yeah, lets go."
