Chapter 26

Matt's POV

I walked inside, putting my bags in my room and immediately grabbing my phone, calling Kat.

Hi this is Kat, leave a message and I might call back

I groaned, I was always getting her damn voicemail.

"Kat." I said into the phone. "I'm home, call me as soon as you get this, I'm dying to see you."

I hung up. God I was dying to see her. I wanted to see her right now this second, I didn't want to have to wait, but she wasn't answering so I was going to have to.

Only I couldn't. I went and had a shower and then I called her again, leaving another message. I went into the kitchen and made a coffee, sitting down and staring at my phone, willing it to ring and when it didn't ring I picked it up, calling her again.

"Jesus Matt." She snapped straight away. "Can you at least let me get out of work?"

"Oh you're working?" I asked softly, feeling relieved that that was the reason she wasn't answering.

"Yes." She said. "And I literally finished one minute ago, I haven't even left the hospital yet."

I smiled. God I'd missed her. "Well I'm home." I told her quietly.

"I gathered that." She mumbled and I could hear her walking.

"So um." I murmured. "Are you coming over?"

"Yes." She said softly. "I am, I'll go home and shower first okay?"

"Okay." I said smiling like a fool. "But don't be long."

"I'll hurry." She said hanging up and fuck I hoped she did hurry.

I got up, quickly looking around. The house was pretty clean and when I went into the bathroom with the spa, I smiled, leaning down and picking up one of Kat's thongs. I guessed she had been here a bit while I was away, not that I minded one little bit.

I went into the kitchen, finishing my coffee and checking the fridge. There was absolutely nothing to have for dinner but that was okay, we could order in, although I kind of wanted to dine on Kat, I mean it had been two very long weeks.

I sat in the kitchen and waited and waited, hoping she hadn't fallen asleep again, but finally I heard a car in the drive and fuck acting cool, I got up, going too the door and opening it, waiting for her.

I watched her get out of her car, and god, she looked beautiful. I had missed her so much and it kind of scared me a little. I'd never felt this way about anyone, I mean Victoria and I had been together for years and not once did I ever feel like this.

She looked at me and smiled and my heart melted.

"Hi." I said softly as she walked up the stairs to me.

She had on a dress and it looked so nice, she looked so nice and it was all I could think right now, how fucking beautiful she was and how much I'd actually missed her.

"Hey." She said reaching the top and walking inside.

I followed her in and shut the door, reaching out and pulling her into my arm's, kissing her deeply.

"God." I murmured against her lips. "It's good to see you."

"Is it?" She asked raising her eyebrows at me.

"Yeah it is." I whispered kissing her again. "I missed you."

She smiled. "I missed you."

"Good." I murmured and then I kissed her again because right now I couldn't stop. "You look beautiful Kat." I murmured.

"Thank you."

We stood around kissing for awhile, because like I said I couldn't get enough of her, but eventually we stopped long enough to make our way into the living room, where I sat on the couch, pulling her down next to me and holding her close.

"So." I murmured, looking at her. "What have you been doing?"

"Besides working." She murmured laying her head on my chest. "And looking for a place to live, nothing."

"A place to live?" I asked her, pulling back and looking at her.

She sighed, nodding. "Yeah we're all being evicted, apparently they sold the whole building to someone who's going to tear it down."

"Well that's ridiculous." I mumbled frowning. "Can they do that?"

She shrugged. "They can and they have."

I kissed her forehead. "Oh well you'll just have to move in here." I said quickly, because that's what I wanted, I wanted Kat here with me.

"What?" She asked frowning.

"Well." I said looking at her. "What's the point of looking for somewhere else to live when you can live here with me."

"Oh." She said sitting up.

I looked at her. Fuck, maybe she didn't want to live me. Maybe she didn't feel the same way.

"Well." I mumbled, looking at the wall. "Only if you want to, you know, you don't have to."

I glanced at her and she was sitting there, chewing on her lip, looking down at her hands.

"Well." She said suddenly looking up at me. "What about Victoria?" And she raised her eyebrow's.

I knew it was coming, I wasn't shocked. I knew Victoria had to have said something to Kat, she wouldn't be able to help herself.

"What about her?" I asked Kat, sitting back in the couch, getting comfortable.

"Oh well." She snapped. "You have your big reunion date coming up, I mean how would that work with me living here?"

"Kat." I said softly, reaching out and pulling her to me. "There will be no reunion date."

"Does she know that?" She asked softly.

"Yeah actually." I murmured. "She does know that because I told her, I told her about you."

"Oh." She whispered.

"Yes oh." I murmured. "Yes Victoria and I broke up a year ago, and yeah we talked about getting back together after a break, but I met you Kat and everything changed."

"It did?" She asked pulling back to look up at me.

"Yeah." I whispered leaning down and kissing her softly. "Everything changed because I met you and I fell in love with you."

She smiled and I kissed her softly. "It's true." I murmured. "I did, so move in with me Kat, I mean if want to."

She pulled back a little and touched my cheek. "Are you sure?" She asked softly.

"Yes babe." I murmured kissing her nose. "I'm very sure, I want you here with me, all the time."

She smiled and I loved her smile, it was so beautiful. "Okay." She said smiling. "I'll move in here then."

"Good." I murmured, kissing her again. "Oh and another thing." I murmured against her lips. "You are coming on tour next time, every time we tour you have to come. Okay?"

"Okay." She whispered kissing me.

I held her close, enjoying her. I didn't want to be without her again, two weeks had felt like forever.
