Matt's POV

"For fuck sake." I called out to nobody in particular. "Are we ready to go yet?"

"In a minute." Suzy muttered, stomping past me.

"Well we're gonna be late." I called out to nobody yet again.

"I'm ready." Johnny grinned, appearing and clutching a beer.

"Put that down." Suzy snapped at him, removing the beer bottle.

I grinned at Johnny, reaching up and loosening my tie as Brian finally made an appearance.

"Doesn't he look handsome?" Jan cried, clutching his arm.

I shrugged, grabbing at my tie.

"Stop." Suzy snapped, slapping my hand away and tightening my tie back up. "Leave it alone."

"It's annoying." I muttered, eyeing Johnny's beer.

"Well too bad." She grumbled. "Leave it until after the ceremony."

"Speaking of which." I said looking at Brian. "If we don't hurry you'll be late."

"And we can't have that." Jan added. "You're lucky you found a girl who's willing to put up with you."

I snorted, laughing. "So true."

Jan turned to me. "Don't you start." She scolded. "Lord knows how either of you ended up with such nice girls."

"A miracle." Suzy added, laughing.

"Yeah." Johnny added, picking up the beer again and sneaking a drink.

"Now all we need is for Zack to meet someone." Brian said rolling his eye's.

I didn't reply. Zack was still stinging from the whole Rachel thing and now he was super fussy about who he dated so I found it highly unlikely that he'd ever settle down.

"Let's just go." Zack muttered, glaring at us.

"Yeah let's." I mumbled, heading to the door.

We made our way outside to the two cars that were waiting. I got in one with Brian, Jan and Johnny, the rest got in another one.

I was eager to get to the church, very eager. I had an ulterior motive, I was dying to see my wife. It was kind of sad really. Last night we'd spent the night here, at Brian's and I'd missed Kat a lot. One night and I fucking missed her badly.

I looked out the window as we drove to the church. I couldn't wait to see Kat in her dress. Was it bad that I was going to a wedding where I was more excited to see the Matron of Honour than the actual Bride? Probably, but I didn't care. I had eye's for Kat and Kat only and I knew today she would look senfuckingsational.

We arrived at the church and I got out, looking at the all the people. God, I was glad that Kat and I had had a private affair, no people, no one for me to have to share Kat with. On our wedding day Kat was mine and solely mine, it had been perfect.

"Right, inside." Suzy snapped, ushering us towards the church. "The girls will be here shortly and you can not be out the front."

We all shuffled inside, making our way to the front, where I stood next to Brian and we waited.

"I hope she hurrys up." Brian whispered, more to himself than anyone and I nodded, yeah I wanted them to hurry up too for a completely different reason.

We stood there for about five minutes before there was movement at the church doors, signalling the arrival of the girls.

"This is it." Jan said, kissing and hugging Brian. "Now enjoy."

Brian looked at me with wide eye's and I smiled, attempting to comfort him, he looked a little bit overwhelmed the poor guy.

The music started and Dani's sister came first, followed by her cousin. I was trying to watch the girls and keep my eye on Brian at the same time.

"I think he's going to pass out." I hissed, leaning over towards Zack.

At that moment Kat walked in and my breath caught in my throat. She always did and always would leave me breathless. She was fucking perfect.

How the fuck did Brian and I end up with girl's that were so above us it was ridiculous?

"Fuck." Zack hissed and I glanced at Brian who was swaying on his feet.

I shuffled a little closer, gripping his elbow with my hand while stealing glimpses of Kat at the same time.

"You okay?" I whispered.

He nodded his head, making a strange noise as Dani appeared, walking down the aisle clutching her Father's arm.

Dani looked beautiful. She wasn't Kat, but she definitely came a close second.

Once the ceremony started Brian settled down and we all stood there, listening as they declared their love for each other. I was trying to concentrate, but damn Kat was making it hard and I was glad when the ceremony was done so we could group with our partners.

I made my way behind Dani and Brian and smiled when I felt Kat's hand grip my arm.

"Hey you." I murmured smiling down at her.

"Hey." She whispered smiling back and fuck I wanted to leave this church so I could get a moment and hold my wife close, just enjoying her closeness.

I put my hand over the top of hers as we walked back down the aisle and outside. I just wanted to make sure that everyone knew she was taken and that if any of the single dicks here tried anything I would kill them. Kat was beautiful and I knew other guy's found her attractive. I was just fucking lucky it was me chose to spend her life with.

"Congratulations." Kat cried as we made it outside, letting go of my arm and heading to Dani, hugging her tightly.

I followed her, offering my congratulations before the hoards of people spilled out of church to do the same thing.

"It was such a nice ceremony." Kat said softly, finally making her way back to me.

I was leaning on a wall and I stood up straight, looking at her. "It was okay." And it was if you like that whole traditional wedding thing.

Kat frowned at me and I grabbed her hand, pulling her around the side of the church.

"Babe." I murmured slipping my arm around her waist and pulling her close. "You look beautiful."

She frowned again. "Thanks." She mumbled.

Now it was my turn to frown. "Are you okay?" I asked her softly, because clearly something was bothering her.

She nodded, a slight smile playing in her lips. "It's been a long day."

"It has." I murmured, pulling her closer, my lips finding hers. "So long without you around."

And that was the truth. Every minute without Kat felt like an eternity and it was a horrible feeling.
