Kat's POV

"You have got to be fucking kidding me." I screamed looking at the letter.

I read it, then re read it before screwing it up and throwing it across my living room. Like I didn't already have enough on my mind with Matt and his secret girlfriend, now this.

"Hey Kat." Jeffery suddenly called from the stairwell.

"What?" I snapped back, hearing him walk up the stairs.

I watched him reach my door, clutching a letter. "You too?" He asked.

I nodded. "Me too."

"We all got one." He told me. "I guess they're tearing the place down, building something else."

"Well isn't that fucking super." I spat. "And where the fuck are we meant to live?"

He shrugged, looking at me with his dumb look. "Dunno."

"Ugh." I yelled, glaring at him. "Just great."

He stood there, clutching his letter, looking at me awkwardly. Thank god my phone chose that moment to ring.

"I must get that." I mumbled to him, shutting my door.

I went to my bag grabbing my phone. "Fuck." I snapped, looking at the caller ID just what I needed, Matt calling.

I took a deep breath, pushing thoughts of eviction and Victoria out of my mind before answering calmly. "Hello."

"Hey it's me." He said softly and I cursed my stomach for doing a little somersault at the sound of his voice.

"Oh hey." I replied, hoping I sounded casual.

"So what are you up to?" He asked me.

"Well I'm about to head out for the afternoon." I told him. BECASUE I NEED TO FIND A PLACE TO LIVE. But I kept that part to myself.

"Oh." He said. "Where are you off too?"

"I thought I'd do a little shopping." I told quickly. Yeah shopping for a new place.

"Nice." He replied. "So I'm home tomorrow." He added.

"Oh yeah." I said flippantly. "I won't have to call in and check your place."

"Nope." He said. "But you can still call in after work."

My heart fluttered a little and I cursed myself. Yes, I wanted to call in and see him, I was dying to see him. "I might."

"Anyway." He said. "I better go, last show tonight."

"Okay." I said, chewing my lip because I was dying to ask about Victoria.

"I can't wait to see you." He said softly and I couldn't help but smile.

"Me too." I murmured and it was the truth, the cold hard truth. I loved him, Victoria or not.

"Wish me luck." He murmured.

"Good luck." I said smiling at the phone like an idiot.

"Thanks babe." He said softly. "And I'll see you tomorrow."

He hung up and I stood there, staring at my phone. God, why didn't I just have the balls to ask about Victoria instead of sitting here wondering what the hell was going on. It was affecting my mood and now my job, my mind wandering off several times at work today.

"Tomorrow." I muttered picking up my purse. "I'll ask him tomorrow."

And I would. I needed to know what was going on. I needed to know if he was seeing her as well as me. I wasn't going to be second choice, not for anybody.

I locked up and headed downstairs to my car. The building quiet. I guess everyone was wondering what the fuck we were meant to do now that we were all being kicked out.

"Boxes." I muttered starting my car.

I needed boxes. But first I needed a place to move the boxes in to.

I pulled up down town, finding a park and getting out. I needed to call in to a few real estate places, but first I needed coffee to tackle it.

Fuck, why was my life suddenly falling apart?

I found a place and went inside, ordering the largest coffee they had, standing there, waiting for it, until finally it was ready. It took so long I figured they ran down to Brazil to pick the coffee beans themselves.

I grabbed it, not thanking them, I wasn't much for pleasantries and I headed for the front door.

"Kat." Someone suddenly called.

I looked around, groaning inwardly when I spotted Rachel, the classless cow sitting at a table with some guy.

"Oh hey." I muttered, half waving.

She smiled, waving me over. "How have you been?" She asked as I begrudgingly made my way over to her table.

"Yeah." I shrugged. "Okay."

"Me too." She said. "Oh and this is Keith." She said introducing me to the guy she was with.

"Hey." I mumbled at him. He looked kind of grubby.

"He's a roadie for A Day To Remember." She added.

I shrugged again. He looked fucking homeless to me. "Oh."

"Yeah you know." She said grinning. "What Zack doesn't know won't hurt him right?"

I raised my eyebrow's. Was she saying what I thought she was saying?

"Um, so they'll be back tomorrow." I muttered, shifting my purse on my shoulder.

"Yep." Rachel said. "And that's why he's shouting us today."  She added holding up a credit card. "He get's to go away and have fun so I'm just spending a little myself."

I frowned. What a bitch. She was cheating on him and using his own money to do it?

"Oh." I mumbled. "I better go anyway."

"Okay." She said. "Oh and Kat." She called as I started to walk away. "Not a fucking word." And her expression told me that if I did say a word she'd possibly murder me.

I shook my head walking out. I wasn't going to say a thing anyway. I had my own problems to deal with, like no where to live and Matt and Victoria to be concerning myself about Zack and his disgusting girlfriend. Zack was a grown man, he could sort it out for himself.

Right, off to the real estate, the only problem with that, I got distracted by all the shops and I found myself inside, trying on dresses. Dresses for what you ask? Dresses for when that idiot came home tomorrow. As much as I was confused and bothered by Victoria I was looking forward to seeing him and I had missed him.

"I'll take this." I mumbled handing a dress that I'd tried on, stood in front of the mirror and criticised myself over for ten minutes, before deciding that I'd get it anyway.

"Lovely choice." The sales girl chirped, taking it off me. "Anything special?"

I shrugged. Was it anything special? I hoped it was. "My boyfriend has been out of town and he's coming home tomorrow."

"Very nice." She said as I paid for it.

It was nice and I really was excited to see him, if only I could get rid of the self doubt and the image of a perfect Victoria out of my head.

"Who am I kidding." I mumbled to myself, walking back to my car. "I can't compete with that."

And I wouldn't compete with that, she'd win hands down.

"Fuck." I cried as I pulled into my drive.

I was shaking and nervous at the prospect of seeing Matt tomorrow. He was consuming my thoughts, so much so that I'd forgotten to go to the real estate.

"Fuck." I cried again, bursting into tears.
