Kat's POV

I sat up straight, listening as another announcement came over the speaker.

"Attention Ladies and Gentleman. In approximately ten minutes will be boarding the aircraft once again and this time we will be hoping for no delays." Then there was a little laugh.

I rolled my eye's. It was okay for dumbass from the airline to laugh about it, she hadn't been sitting in this fucking airport for five hours. She hadn't gotten on a damn plane, only to be told there was some sort of mechanical issue and taken back off again, to sit here like a stale bottle of piss for five fucking hours.

I was furious, my mood foul, but Matt was even worse. He was pretty damn pissed off about the whole thing.

Speaking of Matt, I thought to myself, pulling out my phone, I needed to call him and let him know that we might actually be leaving the airport soon.

"Where are you?" He demanded before the phone even had a chance to ring.

"We're about to board." I snapped at him.

"What?" He half yelled. "You still haven't left?"

"I just said we're about to board." I said stiffly, wishing he would drop the attitude.

"Just great." He muttered.

Anyone would think I purposefully went out there and sabotaged the aircraft with the way he was carrying on. He was pissed, but I couldn't help it.

"Yeah well it is what it is." I muttered.

"Fuck." He snapped. "You'll miss it."

He was stating the obvious to me, of course I was going to miss it. They were doing a free show in Minneapolis tonight, sort of like a warm up and due to my flight fuck up's I wouldn't be there to see the show.

"Well yes." I snapped back. "But I didn't fucking plan on it. Anyway I'll just go straight to the hotel when I get there, I'm tired and more than a little over this day already."

"Fine." He mumbled.

"Just tell the front desk I'm coming." I told him.

"Fine." He mumbled again, hanging up.

I frowned at my phone, putting it back in my purse. This tour was going to be fucking great, it hadn't even started and already Matt had attitude.

I sat there for a minute and seriously considered just walking out and going home. I knew Matt and I would hardly see each other on this tour and I also knew he would basically ignore me and right now I wasn't sure if I was up to dealing with it or him.

"Okay." A voice suddenly announced. "Let's see if we can get this right this time."

Everyone cheered, but I didn't. There wasn't an ounce of happiness left in my soul at this point in the day.

We boarded slowly, but eventually the doors were shut and we taxied out onto the runway. I didn't get excited until the plane was actually up in the air and then I settled back, closing my eye's.

There was no point looking out of my window. It was dark already, so I laid back and relaxed, hoping the trip would be a quick one.

Finally we landed and as we exited the aircraft I set my watch to local time. It was already nearly 10.30pm so by the time I got my luggage and then a taxi, it was almost Eleven.

I looked out the window as the taxi drove me towards the hotel and I tipped him well at the end because bless him, he carried my bags into the hotel for me. I was just too tired at this point to do anything. All I wanted to do was shower and sleep.

"How can I help you this evening?" A fancy looking lady asked as I approached the check in desk.

"Yeah." I said attempting to smile. "I'm checking into my husbands room. Matthew Sanders."

She smiled and turned, clicking away on her computer. "Your name?" She asked.

"Katelyn Sanders." I said really trying to smile.

She clicked away and I saw her smile falter a little. "Um, Katelyn." She said softly. "We have no record of you in our system."

I sighed. "You should have." I told her. "My husband assured me that you were aware I would be checking in late tonight."

She looked at me, and now her smile was fake. "Well I'm very sorry, but he didn't."

"Fuck." I muttered under my breath.

"Please understand where we're coming from Miss." She went on. "I can't give you a key, well because....."

I cut her off. "Yeah I get it." I snapped, in case I was some nut bag stalker.

"You're very welcome to sit in our lounge area." She offered. "And I can organise a beverage for you."

I smiled at her, well because it was Matt's fault, not hers. "That would be lovely." I said. "And I would love a coffee."

I made my way to the lounge area and got comfortable, pulling out my phone and calling Matt. It of course went straight to voicemail, so I left a message.

"It's me dickhead." I hissed into the receiver. "Did you forget to do something, like maybe tell the hotel I was arriving, anyway I'm in the lounge area so don't leave me sitting here all night."

I shoved my phone back in my purse as another lady approached me with a coffee. It smelt and tasted divine, so I got comfortable, reading a few magazines and waiting for dickdouche to arrive.

The hotel was basically deserted and I only saw one other person, a small well dressed woman, who wore a constant frown on her face. She glanced at me before scurrying to the elevators.

Around 1am as I was starting to drift off to sleep I heard the unmistakable voices of all the dickheads arriving back.

I opened my eye's, glaring at them. "Did you check your phone?" I hissed at Matt, getting up and approaching him.

"Um." He mumbled. "No, the battery is dead. Why are you down here?"

"Because." I hissed. "You forget to tell them I was coming."

"Oh." He muttered. "Oh fuck."

"Oh fuck yes." I snapped. "Now get me fucking key so I can go to bed."

"Well we were going to have a few more drinks." He told me.

"Have a few more drinks." I hissed. "I want to go to bed."

"Yeah whatever Kat." He muttered, going to the desk and organising my key.

I snatched it off him and made my way up to the room, not saying another word to him.

I had a terrible feeling that coming on this tour was a bad idea. A very bad idea.
