Mex woke up in the cell that Queenly had locked him into.  'Uuugh...' daylight had only been shining through small cracks for a little while. But Baldock was nowhere to be found. 'Good morning, inmate.' There was no trace of the conversation he had with Baldock last night. The bottles were gone, and Mex was tied back to his chair again. 'What.. how..' He tried to rub his eyes, but his arms were chained to the chair. 'Baldock, buddy.. can you.. help me out?' Baldock didn't move an inch. He was just standing there, guarding. 'So, you only treat me like a human when a bottle of wine is between us, huh?' Again, no reaction. It was a clever move, because a few moment later, Queenly decided to pay a visit. She had her map rolled up in her hand, and a pouch carrying the wooden figures that represent soldiers. 'I hope your stay here was as pleasant as mine.' She didn't even apologies for leaving him there without a clear reason. He didn't respond, and looked away. Queenly whispered something in Baldock's ear, on which he left the room immediately. 'Mex, I have to say, I do need your mouth for this one.' She sat down, and crossed her legs. Spreading the map over the table which she threw around just yesterday. 'What is this?' He looked at the map, and wooden figures. 'Well, if you'll allow me.' She was positioning the figures on the map, her cleavage was showing more than usual. 'Mex, in your other world.. you're a legend, you're said to be the best tactician in the world.. I'd like to see how good you really are.' After carefully placing the wooden figures on the board, she roughly pushed them all over. 'One figurine equals a thousand soldiers. We're expecting that Cheopia has an average of 15.000 soldiers.  16.500 if things get really ugly.' She sat back, and crossed her legs once more, slightly flashing her stockings. 'Ugly..?' Mex's face turned slightly pale, when he was thinking about the answer she might give. 'Children, elderly people who can barely keep up, but can still defend their country..' 'Why are we attacking them? They don't pose a threat to us in numbers, and it's mostly desert. You'll gain nothing but casualties if you take over this country!' 'Mex, please..' Queenly gently stroke a Mex's cheek. 'You know me? I would never attack someone or something if I didn't gain from it. These people do pose a threat, and I need them in control as soon as possible. You can help me with that, right?' She sat down, and gave Mex a gently, patient smile.
As soon as Mex picked up one of the wooden figures, he started having visions. It was like he could control every single soldier on the battlefield. Every error, every risk was calculated. Every possible move was tracked, and checked. He saw everything, he knew everything. Mex slowly picked up a wooden figurine, and placed it on the board. X's on the map would indicate enemy soldiers, and O's natural parties that might help out when in need. He looked absent minded, as his hands grabbed the figurines, and dragged them over the board. Hovering in certain places, sometimes dropping them. Sometimes adjusting his entire plan. Within minutes he had planned out an entire batllefield, with battles that could be fought for days. 'I'm... impressed, I must say!' Queenly put her hands behind her back, observing the strategy Mex had came up with. 'Yes.. yes.. it all makes so much sense! This is perfect!' Victory could already be seen in her eyes. 'I wasn't too sure.. but now I am.. Mex, you have to accompany me to the battle field. I can give you everything you want. With you leading our battles we can be victorious forever!' Mex was in doubt, he still didn't knew why Queenly wanted to take over a poor, and underdeveloped country like Cheopia. He had his own quest to take care of anyway. 'I know we would, but.. what about February? Her world has fallen.. I need to help her as well!' 'Mex, please. We were having a joyful moment here. Why did you have to ruin it?' 'I... I shall go with you. But only under one condition!' Queenly raised one eyebrow as she didn't expect Mex to make a demand. 'And what might that be?' Mex grinned, as he had Queenly just where he wanted her to be. 'I want to bring February as well. I want her to be able to go wherever she wants whenever. No questions asked.' Queenly frowned, she was slightly annoyed by the dumb demand that Mex just made. 'That's.. no problem, consider it done. I'll have the judge bring her to the castle as soon as possible. In the meantime , I'll make sure that you're being treated a little bit more.. decent.' She walked away, and winked at Mex while leaving. 'BALDOCK, RELEASE MEX AND TREAT HIM TO A GOOD MEAL, WILL YOU?'
The inspector was walking down the streets, as the cool, damp morning, had turned into a hot, dry afternoon. He still hadn't received word about Mex's death. He began to worry about the future of the Garlox realm. They were already threatened with the great war coming soon. What if they would perish, just because their army couldn't be lead by the prophecy? The inspector had taken a seat on a park bench. Lighting up another cigarette to reduce the stress. He was disgusted by himself, he shouldn't be holding back all this information. He should warn people, and make great plans! But the chaos it would create would have destroyed more than the Youkan realm all together. A young girl approached the Inspector. 'Sir?' The girl stared at the inspector. Her eyes bright green, and her blonde, curly hair in two pigtails. 'What can I help you with little girl?' He was sitting rather rudely on the bench. Taking up way more space than he needed. 'I.. I lost my brother!' The little girl started to cry, while she was talking. 'Now there, don't worry.' He took another puff from his cigarette, and flung it into the bushes. 'When was the last time that you saw him?' 'W-well.. the last time I saw him.. he killed me.' The inspector looked the girl in the eye, and quickly took a normal position. 'I'm sorry?' 'He pulled my soul out of my mind, and let me suffer for eternity.. he said that when the prophecy had perished, we would take over...' black liquid came pouring down her eyes and mouth. 'I need to find my brother so we can complete our task' her voice sounded disfigured, and her movement glitches.  Children, and other people around the detective slowly backed away. Mothers protecting their children, loved ones holding hands.. it seemed that war had arrived.
