'I don't know why you should believe me, it's her word against mine.' Lisai sighed. She turned her head, only to see Queenly busy acting like she's busy. 'I know she's a royal, but please. I'm not even capable of doing any of that! I... I didn't inherit my mothers power. She tried to teach me, but I just couldn't do it.' For the first time, she looked up at the judge. '...Right, I should believe you, because I've never seen any of your kind use that exact same sentence.' The judge said slightly annoyed. 'You see, I'm the only judge in this town, royals pay for my house, my pig husband, and 3 childeren. The next case is about.. Wait..' She looked through the closet that was right behind her. 'Somewhere.. Ah, here we go.' She broke the seal of the scroll, and started to read. 'Ah, yes, yes.. Why not?' She put the scroll down, and looked at Lisai with her glasses on her Nose. 'The next case is about a farmer boy, who wants to sue his father-in-law's pig for rude comments.' Lisai looked slightly confused. 'I.. Ehm.. How is this relatable to my case, your honor?' 'It's not.' She said. 'I'm just pointing out how pointless my job is. You're on your own kid.' She raised her hammer with a mighty force. 'I, Guinevere Gwenn William Pigsty, sentence you to bruning. 'HA, That's justice for you' Queenly shouted from across the room. 'Looks like my plan is working just perfect.' 'IF' The judge continued. 'She fails the witch trial. The witch trial will be tomorrow morning at 7, be on time please. Waking up this early isn't fun for anyone. Case dismissed.'
Christopher had finaly caught up with Mex, who was already inside the house. 'S-sheesh... How about some paint, huh?' He once again tried to make things less tense, but he wasn't able to. Mex's determination was too high to notice anything that Christopher was saying. 'Yeah, right.' Mex said absent minded. 'Is anyone here? We're here for the aching stone...' The house didn't seem to respond to Mex's questions. It was a scray, yet peaceful looking place. It was overgrown with plants, and poison ivy. This houde was the home of thousands of magical bugs. He could tell, because the fireflies did not glow yellow, but also pink, purple, and even black. The place was dark, and moist. But that was to be expected of a house in a place like this. 'If... No one is here, no one will mind this...' He grabbed the 2 handed sword that was on his back, and was about to slice an overgrown table in half. 'No, no. No touchy hurty bug table!'' The mysterious purple looking ghost appeared from out of nowhere. 'It's you!' Mex said in a cold voice. 'Fine, maybe I need to point it at something else.' With a big swing, he targeted the ghost, instead of the table. 'NO TOUCHY HURTY ME!!!' The ghost sounded sad, and scared, but threw it's body against the sword. Mex felt something wet and cold drip down his hand and dropped the sword inside the ghost. It devoured the sword once it was inside it's stomach. 'I.. Sorry.. Not wanted to not touchy hurty tiny Mex's feelies... Sword meant lot? I feel inside... Forgivies me?' The ghost still sounded sad, but also remorseful. 'No touchy hurty friends?' The ghost was offering it's hand, or atleast it seemed like a hand.' 'N-no...' Christopher was hyperventilating. 'I.. Will.. Never be... A true royal..' Instead of throwing himself at the ghost, Christopher fell on his knees. 'Q-queenly... S-sis.. I-i'm so sorry.. So sorry...' He fell on his hands, and tears were dripping on the floor. He wasn't sad, he was angry, at himself. 'I... I'm a failure...' The ghost started to wiggle around in both panic and guilt. 'Please be no touchy hurty friend?'
'R-relax Christopher, We can get it back, right?' Mex looked at the ghost, but it was shaking it's head. 'I am doing goodbye. Maybe see another time?' It didn't wait for a reaction from either Mex or Christopher, and floated away. 'It's just a sword! Queenly will be more than happy when you return home safe! We can do this another time.' Mex tried to comfort him, by puting a hand on his back. '... No'' Christopher's eyes turned blank, as if his heart was pulled out straight from his chest. 'I was supposed to die here, wasn't I?' He sounded awfuly calm, but his clenched fist, and streaming tears said otherwise. 'Ofcourse not!' Mex shouted. 'Why would you think that?' He tried to get closer to christopher, and hugg him. But he was too scared to do so. 'It's in the letter...' Mex felt his chest pocket, and pulled out the letter that Queenly had written for him, and to deliver to Christopher. He tried to read it, but the letter didn't contain any understandable language, just what seemed to be random scribbles. 'That you had to take me on this quest, either as help for you, and if I die, as help for Queenly.. It's not fair... I did EVERYTHING' The calm in his voice had dissapeared, and was replaced with anger, sadness, disgust and disapointment. The silent crying had turned into loud whaling. He started to slam his fist repeadidly on the cold stone floor. His clenched fist started to bleed, but it didn't seem to bother him. Mex backed away slowly. 'C-christopher.. I'm sure that.. S-she didn't mean to.. She n-never said that...' It was no use, even if he was making sense, Christophers shouting, and crying overruled anything that Mex was saying. Most of the time, Mex had ideas, and solutions. But he drew a blank at one of the most important moments. At the point where things couldn't get worse , the straw roof of the house was lifted by a giant tail. The fireflies fled, filling the scene with flickering colorful lights. It didn't draw Christophers attention, he had lost his mind. 'Today might be the day for regret, but it sure isn't the day for dying!' Mex grabbed Christopher by his waist, and ran out of the house. They seemed to be just in time. The giant monster swung it's tail, and destroyed the house completely.
Clouds of dust rose from the ground, and covered the light of the colorful fireflies. The monster screeched loudly, while it swung it's tail at Mex and Christopher. Mex could barely doge the swing while still carrying Christopher. 'Please! I know this is not the time for me to be strict with you! But snap out of it, we must leave, NOW!' Mex shouted at Christopher, but he didn't respond. 'PLEASE! SNAP OUT OF IT!'' The monster crawled closer. The clouds of dust had started to fall, revealing the monster. It looked like a giant Scorpion and tarantula. It walked on six legs, and the front two where claws, like those of a scorpion. The tail was also scorpion looking. It was dripping purple venom, that burned away pieces of the forest. 'CHRISTOPHER, PLEASE!' Again, no reaction. The monster spotted Mex and Christopher, and quickly started to spray venom at them. Mex held Christopher tight, and rolled behind a tree. 'P-please.. C-christopher, you're my friend. I need you, right now! Please don't die for me, I can't live with myself if you did!' Christopher's eyes were still looking blank, and no reaction came from him. Mex held him close, and hugged him. In both panic and sorrow, Mex also started to cry. 'Please, buddy.. come back.. I can't do this without you, I need you! Queenly needs you, your country needs you! You're the royal we need!' He stroke Christophers head, and put his hand around his own waist. 'Christopher..' Mex closed his eyes, and softly pressed his forehead against Christophers. But the moment didn't last long. He hadn't closed his eyes for 5 seconds, Or a quake was felt. Mex opened his eyes directly, and felt venom dripping against his shirt. It burned slightly against his skin, but most of it was blocked by his clothing.
Sadly, that didn't count for everyone... Christopher was pierced by the tail of the monster, and his insides were slowly burning away. The monster had also pierced the thick tree they were hiding behind. It had trouble removing it's stinger from the thick tree. Christopher started to bleed, yet somehow was able to speak his last words. 'M-mex... P-please.. Come.. Closer...' Blood was dripping from the corners of his mouth, but Mex couldn't ignore his last wish. 'I.. I'm here with you...' Mex took Christophers hand, and firmly held it. 'All my life.. I.. I have been s-sorry.. For being a failure. F-for being a waste of space.. P-please.. C-come close...' Mex nodded, and came as close to him as he could. Christopher put his slowly cold turning lips against Mex's, and pressed a soft kiss against his lips. Mex held Christophers head, and kissed him, not because he was attracted to Christopher, but because he deserved it. Christopher broke the kiss, and mumbled his last words. 'For the first time in my life... I.. I'm not sorry...' His grip weakned ''I love you...' 'And I love you too!' Mex smiled, but cried at the same time. Not matter how much Christophers grip would weaken, Mex would tighten his. 'I.. I wasn't waste of space, right?' Christopher was now coughing up blood, the venom from the monster had taken over his body. He was already closing his eyes. The last thing he heard was Mex saying; 'No.. You matter Christopher... You matter''
