'February! Wait!' Mex stretched his arm out to February, seconds before she would teleport away with Queenly. 'Ugh.. now what?' 'Nooooooo!!' In front of Mex's eyes, the entire army just regained health. 'Mex.. would you care to explain what happened here?' Before Mex had realised that he was spoken to, he could feel a large hand on his neck. 'I ehm.. explain what?' He felt the hand clench, and pulling Mex up from the spot. 'You have only 5 seconds before I completely take your life' Mex recognised the voice, it was Vector. 'I don't want to ask again..' 'l-look Vector, I have nothing to do with this.. P-please..' Mex felt his grip tighten even more. 'Fine! Alright! Put me down!' Vector dropped Mex on the ground, and put his feet down on his lower body. 'Continue..' Mex sighed, and started to tell. 'Queenly wanted to attack this morning. She didn't want to tell you, because she thinks you're slowing her down. But when we arrived here, the army seemed.. possessed. They were beating eachother like not even enemies would! It was insane!' Mex swallowed, but continued his story. 'Queenly tried to stop them, but without any luck.. I stopped her, but the sorcerer had already seen her come in. She lifted her up, and tried to kill her by throwing her in the pit of death!' He looked away briefly. 'February noticed that she had only one option.. To teleport her away from here! But the strange part was.. the army doesn't even look hurt anymore! I saw people with their heads cut off... and' 'and hearts ripped out of ribcages etc.' Mex looked surprised at Vector, who could do nothing but let out a big sigh. 'This is why I needed to know when she was leaving.. so we could investigate further...' Vector removed his boot from Mex's stomach, and reached put to him. 'When we were discussing this earlier last night.. this is exactly what happened the second time Queenly wanted to take over Cheopia. We fear that an evil sorcerer is preventing us from attacking Cheopia.. we don't know how, or why. But this happens every time when we try to attack.' Mex frowned a little while he heard the story. 'There is one thing that bothers me, Vector..'

Vector raised one eyebrow. 'What might that be?' Mex peeked inside the royal training grounds. They had resumed training, like nothing ever happened. 'Why did she revive those guards? It seemed like it only wanted to hurt Queenly.' Vector looked around, and quickly took Mex to a bit more private space. 'I think that the sorcerer is after he, because of her father.. as you may- or may not know... Queenly's father was head royal back in the day. He had taken Cheopia many times before. He's dead now.. but he was once a fierce warrior. He once even beat half the Cheopian army by himself! He is a man to respect indeed.' 'But...' Mex shook his head 'I understand that it wants to plot revenge on Queenly, but wouldn't it be better off with the guards dead as well?' 'It would... but, we have no other leads than that.' 'I haven't been here for a long time.. but maybe it's because of something else?' Vector sat down on one of the benches placed in the shack. 'Something else? Like what?' 'February told me about a certain strong sorcerer in Cheopia. That means magic isn't illegal there. Right?' Vector frowned a little. 'Where are you getting at?' 'You see. This opens the possibility of someone else acting from Cheopia, but not actually being from there.' Vectors mind seemed to be lifted. 'Someone else? Like someone from Dernudist?' Mex paced back and forth, plotting his theory. 'Yeah. Like, someone using Cheopia as a cover. Vector, have you ever seen magic like this before?' Vector rubbed his eyes and started to think. 'Ugh.. not like this, I suppose. It surely isn't magic used Bij Cheopia either. They use herbs, and powders.' 'Could it be someone from Dernudist?'

Lynch was still chained down in the basement, shouting for negotiation. 'Must free...' It seemed like atleast one of the guards had listened to his demands. A rather chubby looking guard appeared infront of him, he had big ring of keys on his belt. 'So, you finally came here to listen?' The guard didn't say anything back. He just stared at Lynch, with big glass looking eyes. Without even a word, he started to unlock the cell. 'Listen, I have a lot to offer! If you free me I can give you a nice deal on some magical items!' The guard didn't seem to respond at all. He just started to free him from this cell. Once Lynch had been released, the guard went around the corner to grab Lynch's gear. 'I don't know why you do this.. but thank you, anyway.' The guard handed Lynch the bag of Lynch's possessions. 'If you don't mind...' He quickly put on his magic granting clothing, and saved his tomes somewhere safe within his cape. 'You surely can't do this without reason? May I atleast ask why?' The chubby guard grabbed Lynch's head, and pushed it against his. 'Ugh.. W-well.. I did say anything but..' Lynch quickly stopped talking. For a split second he thought that he could hear a voice. The voice became louder, and it seemed to be talking to him. 'Lynch, I know who you are. I have set up a distraction so you can escape. Meet me on the Dernudist border. I've put a map with your belongings. Please get there!' After receiving the message, the chubby guard fell down exhausted. He was wheezing on the ground, nearly out of breath. 'Looks like I have a new purpose to serve in this world.' He looked at the weeping guard, and kicked him in the throat. His boots drained him from his life power, and spirit. The guard stopped breathing, and turned to dust the same instant. 'Nooooooo!!!' Lynch's eyes widen. 'Looks like my distraction just ended.' He grinned, and quickly made his way out.
