'... It's of no use, right?' Mex turned around, as he pushed the stick even further into the monsters heart. The ghost was still laying down on the floor, being a bit shaky. 'Hey.. Ehm.. I.. Didn't mean to scare you back there. I suppose you mean well after all.' He left the stick right in the heart, and walked over to the shaky, jelly, wobbly heap of ghost that had turned over. Mex sat down next to it, and placed his hands on his knees. ''What's your story?'' He said. The ghost didn't reply. It was just laying there, looking somewhat sad. 'When did you turn into a non-talking type of person?' He tried to laugh it off, and give a friendly push, but he only got wet hands. 'This... Can't be right?' Mex wiped his hands on his cape, and turned around when the being said something. 'I'm sorry?' 'You're Mex.. Right?' Mex looked somehwat confused, but at this point nothing made sense anyway. 'Why, yes.. Ehm.. How can I help you.. Jelly?' The jelly ghost quickly stood up 'I'm not sure if big Christopher you can help us anyway more!!' It seemed angry, but also desprate for help. .. I'm sorry if I may have given the wrong impression just now.. it's.. complicated.' Mex felt his lips, and wiped some left over blood away. He looked at his sleeve, and slowly his eyes got watery. 'I... just couldn't save him..' the blood on his sleeve, soon would mix with the tears that he would cry. Not only because Christopher had died, but because he was right. He was meant to die here, he knew, and he took him along anyway. He was so selfish, he lost someone, only to save his sister. '... maybe you am the good people' The ghost put it's hand on Mex's sleeve. The blood and the tears vanished. It looked clean, and healthy.
'Can.. big Christopher follow please me?' The ghost was jumping up and down. '.. I'm sorry, I can't.' Mex said. 'I'm still on a quest to find the aching stone. I don't know what's going on back home, I have been away for quite a while..' 'You mean shiny orb I carry? I found near creek in frog. Frog scary, but has shiny orb!' The ghost started to feel around in it's pockets, and pulled the aching stone out. 'But.. how? Wait! The creek must have been the centre of the forest at one point. But how, why?! Why did this all happen?! The house here, the monster..' Mex was pacing back and forth, deep in thought. 'YOU FOOLS! PLEASE RETURN THE ORB AT ONCE!' A strong gust of wind came from the east of the forest. The ghost looked startled, and quickly put the stone back in it's pocket. 'You!' Mex shouted. 'Just the one I've wanted to ask questions!' Mex clenched his fist, and raised it to the sky. "You monster! You killed my friend! Why?! He did nothing to you!' Another strong gust of wind blew inside the forest. 'You, him, everyone! You are all destroying my children! My legacy! And all for what?! Worthless coins?' The voice reverberated throughout the entire forest. The bugs started to crawl underneath the falling leaves, all chunks of ground that were levitating in the air quickly dropped, and all the other creatures were searching for a place to hide. 'This is my domain! And all you do is take from me, not only are you hurting me, but you're also hurting my children here!' The trees came to life, and started to close Mex and the ghost in. 'No time you for discussion. Big Christopher coming me now!' The ghost grabbed Mex, and pulled him inside it's body. It was cold, and wet. But as soon as the ghost had put him inside, he could see a bright flash before his eyes.
Mex had his eyes closed, and his arms covering his face. He was inside the ghost. It was all sticky and cold inside. 'Please excuse not good ride. Will show true form soon!' The ghost giggled, it was weird, because Mex could feel it's jelly body shake all around. He opened his eyes, and tried to look down. He was high above the kingdom. 'What are you doing?! S-stop!' 'No time for talkie, must be on time! Start so soon.' They were soaring through the sky together, heading over to a strange looking cloud all the way up in the air. 'Y-you're going to crash us! Look out!' The ghost had already made up it's mind, and flew right through it. 'We here now!' The monster pulled Mex out of it's belly, and flung him somewhere on the ground. Mex tried to stand up, but he had taken quite the fall. 'Nhgn..' Mex growled, and finally found the strength to get up. He took his time to look around. He was somewhere located within a cloud village. It was ruined, columns were torn down, houses were torched, it seemed like a horrible war had taken place here. 'Sorry for the messi! Had no time clean. First thing important!' The ghost was digging through the rubbish, looking for something. 'Found!' It pulled a blue pebble from the ground. She put it on some string, and handed it over to Mex. 'Please carry. Will help! Much thanks if do!' Mex accepted the gift, and wore it around his neck. The monster took a bit of it's jelly, and rubbed it on the pebble. 'This is much better! I'm sorry if my form of primitive communication is lacking, my sincere apologies.' Mex quickly grabbed the pebble, and looked at the ghost. It was just there, smiling. '.. yes, that is me. However this is not the form I usually accommodate. You see, war has found it's way to our realm. Allow me to introduce myself probably now. My name is February. I am the second oldest of my brothers and sisters. I must request something of you. If I may elaborate, a certain type of people would believe in people who would carry a pure heart. If a person with a pure heart would touch our town's centre, it would restore itself slowly.. I guess you could compare it to the human immune system. Only we need a person with a pure heart to start this process. I believe that you have one of those pure hearts.. I beg you to at least try.. if you accept, follow me!' The ghost started to float away. Mex held the pebble in between his fingers, and nodded.
