Baldock, February and Mex had gathered around the dining table. Mex couldn't offer more than some hospitable vibes, and a good cup of tea. 'Well, dig in.' Mex said as he awkwardly stared at the 3 cups on the table. Baldock glared at Mex, and February didn't seem to be that impressed with Mex's tea making skills. 'I'd prefer to wait for the royal banquet, thank you for the offer but...' Baldock shoved the mug in Mex's direction, and started to stare out of the window. 'Mex, why do you allow this spy to be in your house? Queenly can't do this to you, right?' Mex frowned at February. 'Now you're talking, huh?' Baldock raised his eyebrow and looked at Mex. 'I'm sorry? Neither of us were saying anything.' 'Neither of you did? Well, that must have been my mistake.' Baldock looked at February and Mex, and got up. 'Mex, where is your outhouse?' Mex hadn't been at home lately, he didn't even know if he had a toilet for Baldock to go to. 'I eh.. it must be somewhere?' 'Naturally' a Long silence passed, before Mex realised that Baldock was still waiting for an answer. 'But, really. I have no clue. We.. have a forest outside?' Baldock looked at Mex with a strict gaze in his eyes. 'A gentleman doesn't unleash his needs in the wildlife, with all due respect.' Mex shrugged, and looked the other way, while February took a sip of her tea. 'It seems like I have to keep it to myself.' 'So, anyway... How's life?' Both February and Baldock looked rather confused at Mex while he tried to make small talk. It didn't really seem like the right time for it anyway. 'I ehm.. Forget about it.' Somewhat pissed, he took another sip of his tea. 'Mex, you have to understand! Baldock can be a great threat to our plan on meeting the high Sorceress in Cheopia.' Mex acted like he didn't hear February inside his head. For some reason he really felt like she had let him down. But on the other hand, communicating was hard. And miscommunications could be made very quickly.
'We're almost there, Lynch. Just as you asked.' Packed, Vector, Lynch and Youkala rode their horses back to Pannack. They had to enter from the back of the Pannack forest. No one would even dare going near there, so they would be out of sight when they came back. 'Why, that would be a first. I'm glad you take my impatience to heart.' 'And I'm glad that you act like I had a choise to begin with.' The horses stopped moving once they had faced the entrance of the forest. 'What's this?!' Vector shouted at the horses. 'It's of no use, I feel the great magic coming from it's roots.' Lynch jumped off his horse, and took Youkala with him. Before they knew it, the horse ran off. The other horse started to gallop, and shoved Vector off it's back before running away as well. 'I'm scared...' Youkala mumbled while deeply burrying his face in Lynch's chest. 'Please, don't fear my child. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself. Or, your boss if she's a creepy psycopathic blonde.' 'There must be another way around...' Vector acted like he didn't hear Lynch, and wanted to get it over with as soon as possible. It was already early in the evening, and he promised Lynch and Queenly to be back by dawn. 'Now what?' Lynch looked at Vector, but he seemed to be too busy trying to figure thins out. 'You humans are all the same.' Lynch took off his pirate-like coat, and wrapped it around his chest to keep Youkala safe to his chest. With that done, he just started to walk. 'Far away, you could see Pannack's castle in it's full glory. 'Hey, hold up! You won't survive alone in there. You need me to protect you!' Lynch let out a synical laughter. 'As you say. What kind of danger would be infront of me?' Lynch hadn't even finished his sentence, or he would stumble upon a large scorpion like, and an entire armor attatched to it. 'Well, maybe things that live here. Like that. Lynch took a piece of armor, and saw the Royal emblem, just liek Vector would wear it. 'Friend of yours?' He showed the chest plate to Vector, who would quickly take it out of his hands. 'This.. This is from Christopher...' Vector put it back, and quickly continued his way. 'Shouldn't we bring it?' Vector stopped moving, and lowered his head. 'For your and my good. Please leave that here.' Lynch didn't trust Vector, and quickly put it between him and Youkala, who was firmly pressed against his chest. 'I will.'
'Hmm, hmm hm~' Queenly was humming a friendly tune, as she pulled the painting of her family from behind the curtains. 'Tomorrow they'll be done for, father. Just as you had wanted all this time.' She couldn't help but giggle, and squirm like a child. She even held it close to her chest, and danced a little. 'I can't believe I'm this close to fulfilling all your tasks, and start to live for my own goals. Even if I have no idea what the road ahead holds for me. How does one, become a goddess?' She put the painting away, and looked at the burning mark that was left from the documents that she had burned from February's brother, March. 'That little brat is never going to tell me how to get there.' She took a deep breath, and let it out through her mouth. 'One thing at a time. One thing at a time.' Just as she was about to do one more routine check, she bumped chests with her other most favourite knight. 'Queenly, is there anything I can do for you?' Scurelt, A tall gentleman gave Queenly the kindest of smiles, as he took her rough hand in his smooth hands. 'Not at the moment, but please be well prepared for tomorrow, okay?' Queenly wanted to smile back at him, but his innocence was too pure. She couldn't look at him and smile at the same time without thinking about all the horible things she had done for her country. 'You're always so smart, and caring. You always put the well being of others above your need to tell me about what's behind that mysterious brain of yours. Please let me in once in a while.' Queenly felt Scurelt's hand slipping through hers, only to feel his soft hands on her cheek, wiping away some sweat on her forehead. 'Why, the well being of my people contributes to my own well being. You're all of no use to me when you can't provide for me. It's just a friendly reminder.' Queenly turned her face, and waved him away. 'That still means you're a wise leader. I see that I'm of more use packing my things, then to stand here, keeping you from doing your job. I'll see you in the morning.' Just as he was about to leave, a memory filled his brain. 'Queenly.. Where is Christopher?' she turned around, but couldn't get mad for some reason. 'He's.. Gone.' Scurelt turned around, his head leaning slightly sideways. 'That's what you said days ago. Where is he now? Is he okay?' Queenly lowered her head, and sat down. 'Do you remember the happy days?' 'I don't think I follow, Queenly. I'm sorry.' 'I remember the day when you made me a flower crown, and you told me that I was the prettiest girl you knew.' 'I would say the same thing to you everyday, even if we both lived to be 80.' Queenly shook her head. 'You promised me that times would never change, yet I am the one who is going to change all of it, do you think I will destory the happy times if I continued?' Scurelt shook his head, and sat down right beside her. 'I made that flower crown because you were my princess. You still are. We were kids, and if we like it or not.. Times do change.' He pressed a soft kiss against her forehead, and got up. 'But please, let me be useful to you tomorrow, please let me be useful the day after that. I will always be here to take care of you. No matter how, or when. I'll understand.' He pulled a rose out of his pouch, and put it on her lap. While walking out, he blew her a kiss and waved her goodnight.
