'Jarrold, have you packed everything? We don't want to dissapoint the people of Pannack again, do we?'  A heavy build woman was busy looking after her special son, as she wiped a bit of drool from the corners of his mouth. ' Yes mom.'  'So you didn't open any letter?'  Jarrold did nothing but stare at the distance ahead of him. His mailbag was heavy, but he loved his job. ' Did you, Jarrold?'  'No mom' Jarrold let out a huge sigh, as he wanted to leave already. It was early, but he didn't want to waste any more time. ' Are you sure you don't want me to come along with you? It's not a trouble at all.'  'NO! No, no no. I can do just fine.'  Jarrold's mother stepped back, and watched her little boy. ' That's okay honey, I believe in you.'  As he was about to leave, his mother called him closer. 'Jarrold! You forgot your hat. How will other people know you're the mailman if you don't wear this?'  The woman put the cap on Jarrold's head, and gave it a kiss. Jarrold replied quickly, as he wiped the kiss away. 'MOM!' ' Oh, right. Sorry honey. Good luck!' Jarrold had closed the door behind him, and started to look at the letters that he carried in his messenger bag. ' Queenly...' Jarrold took a huge whiff of the letter, and opened it.  He couldn't read it, but whatever the letter held made him angry. 'Only I can speak at her.'  He threw the letter in the pond nearby, and continued his route. 'Miss Wilckerson... That's... North...'  Jarrold put his finger in his mouth, and let the wind guide him on his way '20 steps... North more.' Jarrold suddenly stopped infront of a house, and knocked.'  It took a while, but a woman shouted that she would be out in a second. 'Oh, hello little mailman. Do you have mail for me?'   '...' ' I have been hoping to hear back from my sister. It has been ages!' '...'  'Is that a no?'  'Here, take this.'  The woman gladly accepted the letter, and quickly opened it. 'This... Isn't meant for me? Miss Wilckerson has passed a while ago. I'm sorry kid. I'll make sure to write an acceptable reply to whomever send this, okay?'  ' Yes mom' 'Oh, n-no I'm not your mother, kid. ... Speaking off, where is she? Is this your first day alone?' 'Yes'  Jarrold nodded, a silent tear rolling down his cheek.' 'Oh, honey. I'm sorry! Do you need some help getting back? I bet she wouldn't mind to help you again... Maybe another day? Come, let's head back to the postoffice.'

'Yarr! And Another! Take that you scrampy!' 'Hey! Watch out where you swing that.' A woman dressed in a poofy dress and two blue pigtails nearly got hit by the Pirate dressed boy in blonde. 'Yarr? Aye! Maribelle, Did ye landlegs need some ocean?'  'Please, Zake cut it out. You're not a real pirate.' The boy dressed as a pirate crossed his arms, and but his sword back. 'Not with that attitude, hmpf. Why is it that you only visit me when i'm on the boat, huh?'  'Zake. You are only with your boat. It is never possible for me to see you without that thing.'  'Arr! A captain must always be with his boat.'  Maribelle said nothing, and could only stroke the upperhalf of the boat that was stranded on the beach for so long. 'As you say, captain.' 'Yarrr! Now, tell me lass. How is the scalywag doing in the cell?'  Maribelle giggled, and played along with Zake's silly game. 'Aye Aye Captain!' With a playful twhirl in her step, she decided to check out the man that had been held captive for a while. ' He- ... He's gone, captain?'  'Aye?' Zake turned around, and let the wheel go. 'Don't play games with me Maribelle! He was just there.'  'And now he ain't, ''Captain'' perhaps you should have paid more attention to that instead of fake steering the boat.'  Zake Quickly made his way to Maribelle and put his eyepatch on his other eye. 'Yarr! Someone is going to walk te plank for this trick!' The girl awkwardly played with her pigtails as she sat on the railing of the boat. 'D-do you think he will be cross with us? W-we were only playing!' Zake stood up, and looked Maribelle in her azure eyes that sparkled with excitement and worry. 'Yarr! That Scallywag better not be showing 'is face around these parts of town. I wil burry him next time I see his black leaking rat face!' Maribelle giggled slightly, but his confidence wasn't enough to completely make her mind at peace. Maribelle pressed her index finger against Zake's head, and pushed him gently away only to grab his hand afterwards. 'Catch him with some romantic moves, perhaps?' As Maribelle quickly turned a pirouette under Zake's arm, she started to sing an old lullaby that she reminded from when she was little. ''Two childeren lost so far away, losing everything but their childish sway. How will they find home? Is there a way back, is there a will? Who would want to return to the nothing but ill? A chance to live, to see the world behind other's scars. Firm hands holding them back, words of sorrow to prevent the whack. The harsh world will follow these closely as they are the first to break free from the beast.'' Maribelle wanted to sing more, but Zake stopped her. 'My steps aren't romantic... These moves are for passion, yes. But not for only one girl.' He let go of Maribelle's hands, and went back to his ship's wheel. Maribelle gently lowered the hand that she held Zake with just seconds ago. 'Can I... see you tomorrow?' It got awfully quite and Maribelle decided it was best not to ask anymore questions as she walked away and heard Zake do nothing but sob silently.

'S-so.. C-cold..' Zavid tiredly pushed himself through an inches thick layer of snow. As he knew that his final hour had passed, he decided to torture himself just a bit more of Mex's sin. It was nothing he had seen before, yet he wondered how Mex could live with himself after all he's done. As Zavid thought that his last minute had passed, a rugged voice started to speak to him. 'Are you alright kid?' Zavid quickly put his glasses back on and tried to answer the man. 'H-here.. Please...' The men felt Zavid's black veil around his feet, but he didn't ask too many questions. 'Here, just relax.' With one giant swing, the man threw Zavid on his shoulder and went on his way. 'You're not from around here, are ya?' Zavid could only squirm in reply. 'Ha. It takes much more practice to brave through this snow in just a pair of pants.' Zavid felt his glasses slipping from his face and dropping in the snow. He didn't know where the man was taking him, but Zavid noticed that the snow was much thicker. It felt like the stranger was taking him to his death. With the last of his powers, Zavid tried to squirm out of the man's grip, but to no succes. 'Don't worry. We're nearly there.' Zavid heard the man, and for some strange reason felt the air getting hotter, the grass getting greener and even the air becoming more bearable. 'Are we.. Descending?' The man put Zavid on his other shoulder, and laughed. 'Don't worry. We're here... Just close your eyes, okay? I'm pretty sure I can finish these plates and glasses another time... Can you sit down? Do you know your name?' The man put Zavid in one of the few pieces of furniture that stood in the room. '... My name is Mex... I'm the saviour...' 'Well, pleased to meet you, Mex. It seems like the cold has really affected your brains! ... And your eyes, what is this?' Zavid felt his face and replied faintly. 'I dropped my glasses...' 'We don't want the saviour to be without glasses, don't we? Here, I have a spare pair of wielding glasses. They're too small for me now.' Zavid quickly grasped them and pulled them out of the mans hands. 'You're very much welcome.' 'I'm sorry if my manners are not as you had expected from me...' With a slight hesitation is his action, Zavid put the glasses on and stood up. 'I'm fine.' Zavid added. 'You're not going anywhere, pup. It seems like the help you need is not only on the outside, but also on the inside. What's bothering you?' Zavid turned his head to the man. 'What is it to you?' With a lot of trouble, the man pulled his wallet out of his pouch. 'This is my daughter. She's roughly around the same age as you. I didn't see it soon enough, but this scallywag was just like you. She was always so distant, puting me far away from who she really was. After her mother died, she was just so silent... I never got why she changed so much. I'm not the best papa, but I wanted her to tell me what was wrong. And suddenly she just...'' The man put the picture back in his wallet and stopped for a bit. ''The point is, she was troubled like you are right now... We had a fight one day, she left when I was asleep, I didn't notice a thing... Bearly clothed, she made her way to the coldest place on this mountain and sat down. She froze to death, along with the demons and negative ideas that prevented her from getting help from friend, family, even from me... So you see, I shall only let you leave if you tell me what is wrong.''
