Chapter 38; The great war.

  'People of this city, please come to me!' It was already dark, But Garlox' aura made it seem like a new day had come. 'I want to introduce you to.. The saviour! This child will end the upcoming war against the Youka realm. Please, protect these people with your lives.. For they are now under my protection.' Many people gathered around Garlox, as he pulled his wings aside, and released Mex and his mother stepped on holy soil for the first time. It felt nice, she never had experienced something as nice before. She dug her bare toes in the smooth sand, and smiled. 'Excuse me, m'lady?' Mex's mother didn't bother to look up. AHe was too busy comforting her child. 'We made it.. You're safe now..' The baby didn't cry for the first time since it was born. 'Excuse me?' A man dressed in yellow tapped her shoulder. 'Welcome, m'lady.' Mex's mother looked up, and gave the man a friendly nod. 'Let me introduce myself, my name is Lo-Fu.I am one of the council members in this city.. We have been put together by Garlox's father. And by reincarnation, we have been together for many lifetimes.. We would like to see the child.' He reached out to the child, but Mex's mother backed away from Lo-Fu. 'N-no.. You can't take him from me..' Garlox saw the fright in Mex's mother her eyes. 'Please, people. Let her settle down first... In that way she can adapt to our culture, and surroundings. Lo-Fu seemed displeased, but there was nothing that he could say against his god. 'Understood. If you can give us your name, perhaps?' Mary-ann took a step forward, and with the baby in her arms, she spoke. 'My name is.. Mary-Ann.. My father is a broken sin caster, and my mother is Amy, one of the original sin casters. This makes me nothing but an upper-class citizin. However, I was lucky enough to conceive a child with Axl, he is a sort of royal in the Youka realm. That makes this child one of the first cross breed in Youka. They wanted to kill him, but I ran away.. I hope that I won't be a bother for any of you.'  

'What do you mean, gone?' Axl and Amy both kneeled infront of the hanging corpse of the deaf brother. 'The woman, Mary-Ann.. She prayed to Garlox, and he saved both her, and her child..' The corpse leaked even more sin, as he heard that name. 'What?! HOW COULD YOU?! That child is mine, it's mine, I should take it!' 'Listen, your highness, we have made a terible mistake, but we hope that we can sacrifice the child to you as soon as possible.' 'You better make sure of that Axl, I have to consume this child, so I can travel in between worlds.. Be the ruler of worlds forever!' 'But.. Your highness, It hasn't even been proven that there is another world.. Aren't you exaggerating?' 'But I have proof! It's alive and well..' The church started to pound, just like a heart in a chest. A ladder appeared, leading to the basement of the church. 'Please, go inside and see for yourself.' The two held hand, and climbed down the ladder. It was even darker than usual, but the deaf brother was able to make a subject, that would provide them with a candle. Inside the basement, there was a prisoner. 'P-please help me.. I want to go home..' The two of them looked at eachother. 'Your highness, if we may.. Who is this?' 'Go ask yourself. He is pretty desperate..' 'My name is January, I made a big mistake.. Please allow me to return to my own world!' 'Your world? There is only one, right?' January shook his head. 'Please, allow me to explain what happened. But, can I have a glass of water first?' Amy chuckled, and spat on his face. 'Call me if you need more~' January's head dropped, but he couldn't do anything but blame himself. 'Very well.. In my world, I was granted a position of artificial god. With the wonders of modern age technology and fairy dust, we were able to create a machine that was god like. We could interfire with the species beneath us, and grant them happiness, or take it away. As the eldest, I was forced to be the first to do so. In the beginning it was easy, everyone was honest and didn't lie.. But somehow sin found our world as well.. I couldn't keep track of what was true, and what was false. People started to lie in complex ways. I have spend half of my life researching this behaviour.. But.. I gave up. It didn't seem worth it anymore. I was in deep outer space, there was no way that I could contact my family to go home, all they could see was my progress. I saw no other option but to destory the spacecraft completely. I went outside, and tried to sabotage the ship.. But just at that moment, a sincere wish was done. The wish pulled me in, and along with the wish I became stuck in this world.' 'So there is another world?' 'Yes, many more if I'm correct, but none of them are as connected as ours.'

'He was just a baby, how could life be this shirt? Marie was weeping, as she held her stillborn son in her hands. He had already grown to be a full baby, but somehow he didn't respond to anything. Not to air, not to water. 'Please, Marie. I know this is difficult.. But we can always try again?' 'You don't understand! You didn't carry him for 9 months! I wish that I could see his cute little smile, only just once.. She stroke his tiny cheek with her finger. But it felt as cold as ice. 'I'm only thinking about what is best now! We have closed the shop for so long, we have no money to eat, no money to dress ourselves.. We have to open thepotion shop again! I am going to the Pannack forest, no matter what you're saying. Tomorrow we're opening the shop and that's final!' Jack had tried to make his wife feel better for quite some time, he couldn't handle it anymore and left to gather magical herbs from the Pannack forest. 'I wish you never returned at all! You mean nothing to me anymore!' Jack slammed the door shut once he got out. 'You're the only thing that matters to me now.. I love you.. Mex. That's a great name for a fine gentleman like yourself. Marie held her baby close to her heart, and prayed. 'Dear god, why did you take him away from me so soon? I have done nothing wrong.. I promised that I would never do evil ever again, but only if you granted me this child.. Why did you abandon me? I did everything I could.. Marie started to weep again, as she felt the body of her lifeless child against her chest. But somehow, she could feel a tiny heartbeat. It seemed far away, but it was there. 'God? Did you gave me back my son?' She held her child closer than ever before. I shall protect him with my life, and make sure no harm will ever be done to you!' Her son was still dead, but only went trough a second birth in another world.
