The old deaf man woke up in his bed, it was already late in the afternoon. You could tell by the bright light that was coming through the curtains. He turned around in his bed, to see if his brother had already got up. He had. His bed was messy, and a trial from knocked over things lead to the door. The man got up, and decided to see where his brother was. He was in the room with the same music box as before. The man could see him enjoy listening to the box. The man tried once again; 'what does it sound like?' His whistling sounded like he was asking a question, but there was deep sadness within his tone. The blind man started to make gestures, he wanted to explain how beautiful the sound was. He put his hand to his chest, and made a heart shaped figure with his fingers. He stood up, and danced around the room cheerful. He pointed to the ballerina on top of it. And tried to point at the music, and the figurine at the same time. "This song is about as beautiful as the girl." The deaf man clenched his fist, because he just couldn't understand. His brother could still feel the figurine, and get a picture of how beautiful it was. But he couldn't feel the music, it could never reach his heart. The man left the room again, and went back to bed. He looked at the tip of his finger, it had only started to recover shortly. But the man bit the tip off, and started to continue his drawing of the music box in blood. His whole wall was filled with an image of the ballerina, and waved of what seemed to be sound. The man tried to draw the sound, so he could finally see what the song meant. But no matter how much blood he would  lose to the idea of music, his heart couldn't be fulfilled.

'So... you did it?' Queenly had her eyes fixated on the orb, and her eyes sparkled just as much. 'Yes.. but.. we had to pay a high price..' Mex looked down, and remembered the kiss he shared with Christopher, and how his body was launched far away together with the tree he was pinned down to. 'There is no such thing as a price too high for this gem~' She quickly picked it up, and started to study it. 'Yes.. yes.. marvellous..' 'QUEENLY! We lost Christopher!' She didn't even bother to look up at Mex, who was shouting at her. 'Yes, yes. Great. Good to hear. I'll make sure you get the money to leave all by yourself' 'all by myself.. Queenly.. where is my sister?!' She froze, and quickly put the aching stone away. 'Well.. we might have been dealing with some.. minor complications...' She quickly turned around, trying to flee the scene. 'WHAT?!' Mex tackled Queenly to the ground, his fist held high, ready to punch her right in the face. 'Ughh..' Queenly groaned. 'You are leaving me no option here Mex, I really really wished I could give this to the king.. but..' She pulled the aching stone out, and pushed it firmly against Mex's head. With one quick motion, the stone and his forehead fused together. Mex fell back to the ground, as his entire memory flooded back. His home town, the town council, being the prophecy, Lucy, being murdered. 'am.. am I.. dead?' Mex stood up, but his knees were trembling. He looked all around him, he realised that he'd never seen these faces before, he had never met these people, these were not his people to protect! 'I have to get home, right now!' 'You can't! Queenly shouted. Please, stay here..' Mex fell down to his knees, it was too much to take in. Just before black flashed before his eyes, he could see lots of guards heading towards him.

'Ughh..' the inspector had taken a seat in his favourite diner. He was smoking a cigarette, and waving his empty cup around. 'What does a guy have to do around here to get a nice cup of Joe's?' 'Ah shut your trap Cleveman.' A typical, older looking diner lady came out. She was wearing a short pink dress, and an apron. Her hair was flaming red with grey coming from the roots. She looked tired, yet friendly. 'You know you just have to ask for it, no need to be all barbaric about it this early.' She put on a pot of coffee, and pulled a pencil from somewhere within her hairdo. 'You need some eggs, with that?' 'Just give me the usual, Ursula.' He put his cigarette out, and saw other people walk in. 'God.. this is all so surreal.' They sat down, and looked through the menu. 'Look at those happy people Ursula, they don't know yet..'
The people were busy browsing the menu, and discussing recent events. 'What's that now?' Ursula was in the back, frying up some fries. 'I know I share a lot with you, but I simply can't share this with you.. but I think you'll see all about it sooner or later.' 'It can't be all that bad? We have the prophecy on our side during the war, so it'll be alright. The sun is shining, give this old lady a smile will ya? Be glad you're alive and breathing.' She was finishing up on his order, and poured some coffee. 'There you go handsome, I would say it's on the house. But I just remembered how much you owe me.' She hadn't even put down the plate, or the inspector already was about to leave. 'Just put it on my bill, will you? I have some business to attend..' Slow, but steady, the country was waking up. It was yet another pleasant day to most. But the inspector knew what was happening. He stroke his hand through his hair in stress, and lit another cigarette. 'I can't believe that we let something so stupid happen..The price must be paid by others.'
