At lunch I told Dj what happened in the Media Center.

"That's crazy but I'm proud you stood up to her" She says with so much excitement.

"Me too. " I say as I eat my lunch. I eat the same thing everyday, a taco bowl.

We continue our conversation, then when the bell rings we go to our locker and go to class.

The rest of the day was a drag. I go to my car and wait for Kimi.

"Hey" She says out of breathe.

"Hey get in." I reply.

We get in and speed out the parking lot. The radio was blasting 23 by Miley. This is a good song on the lowest key. We pull up in front of my house moments later.

"So what's up with you and Darion?" She says in between chews of eating her chips.

"I don't know..." I say honestly.

"Are y'all still together?" She says with concern.

"I don't know that either. ."

"Oh... It'll get better. I promise!"

"Okay. How's you and your boyfriend?"

"We good. he is just so... freaky"

"Haahaa You don't want a boring bf do you?"

"No...I guess not"

"Exactly!"

We talk for hours more. We even watched a movie before she left. When she was walking out the house I see Darion walking up the steps. Here we go.

"Hi....."

"Hello." I say with no emotion.

"You didn't talk to me after school." He say in a questioning tone.

"I had to take Kimi home." I lie. Truthfully I didn't want to talk to him.

"Oh...I see"

"Look..."

"What?" He says with a little attitude

"I don't think we are going to work out."
