Chapter Six:

Today was the party. And I guess, me and Fraser were now officially friends.

Just kidding, that guy is still as annoying and unresponsive as ever, you know what I might start calling him Mr Unresponsive, like just yeah. We had been to a few more sites and I had edited more pictures. I had been emailing them to the Boss who could forward them to the team which was actually designing the magazine. Of course Mr Unresponsive looked at the pictures before I emailed them.

So yeah the party, I was in my hoodie and jeans as usual (slightly nicer jeans and formal shirt, because I let Jenny pick out my outfit...), with my bag and camera bag slung over my shoulder, and I was standing in front of the venue, which unfortunately was Mr Anderson's house. Well, click. I thought whilst taking a picture of the outside of the house let me tell you, it was luxurious.

As I approached, security stopped me.

"Invitation card?" I handed it over, and they nodded letting me in. This is so damn scary, I mean I have done photos for parties, but never this big, and I usually have my team with me, but apparently the team was 'busy'. I gulped, come on Charlie, you can do this... No, no I fucking can't, just as I was about to turn and make a quick exit... Mr Anderson appeared from nowhere, like what is he? A vampire?! I was nervous and I had weird talking habits when I was nervous.

"Are you a vampire? Because I swear, my blood tastes like sh-poo, because I have the worst diet and if you eat me you'll-get-fat?" Yeah, see... Mr Anderson looked at me then started laughing. He's a vampire, I knew it.

"A vampire?" Mr Anderson chuckled, "You are something Miss Rae," I nervously laughed with him. "Anyways, I was just going to say that, after taking some photos, please do stay as at the end of the night there's a feast, and not a blood feast I promise you," he added at the end laughing and walking off. Okay definitely not staying, taking pictures and legging the hell out of here. I saw Mr Anderson start talking to Fraser, and they looked in my direction, causing me to avert my eyes to the ceiling. Oh that is such an amazing chandelier. I'm extremely obvious and I feel like crawling in a whole and dying. This is not my sort of place.

Okay, pictures, pictures... I think I'm a people's person as I find it easy to talk to people, which is how I could go up to random people, talk, make them laugh a bit and then take their picture and be off. I did that a couple of times with some people, until I accidentally bumped into a slut. Not just any slut either, but the fucking queen bee of my sixth form college and high school.

"Watch where yo- Oh Charlotte, what a pleasure," Camilla sneered.

"The pleasures all mine." I said with a sickly sweet smile.

"Though out of all the places, I didn't expect to see you here,"

"Well I guess life is full of surprises Camilla,"

She carried on as if I hadn't said anything, "I mean it's not like you're dead parents left you a fortune, which can be seen quite clearly from your attire," I clenched my fists. "And unless you came here by accident, I don't see how or why you got an invitation to Cameron Fraser's birthday party. So you know what? I'll do you the honour of directing you out of here," Oh bitch please, if I was not working I would've slammed that bitches face on the table that was next to us.

"I swear to God, if I weren't working right now I'd demonstrate how to break your nose, with just one hit, like I did the last time we saw each other." Instinctively she put a hand to her nose. That's right bitch. "Now if you excuse me, I have work to do," I said an held up my camera. I swear I saw Fraser roll his eyes and turn around. And I could've sworn I had seen a ghost of a smile on his face. Or that was again my nerves.
