Wendy’s POV

“Blooming ah, what’s the status?”

Iyon agad ang bungad sa akin ni Thaliya ng magkita kami dito sa Trinoma. It’s Saturday today and I decided to take my shopping day for today. I contacted Liya awhile ago and she said yes.

“Chismosa.” Sabi ko sabay irap sa kanya

Tumawa siya sa inasal ko at nagbeso kaming dalawa. Nag-umpisa na kaming mag ikot na dalawa dito sa mall. Inuna na naming sa department store.

“You know what? I really miss doing this Wends. Sayang at wala sila Fatima to make us complete. Super busy nila.” Reklamo niya

Huminto kami ni Liya sa stall ng mga new arrived items. Agad na naagaw ng atensyon ko ang isang kulay red na bag. Kinuha ko ito at nagsalita.

“I missed doing this too. Yaan mo sila, the important is tayong dalawa.” Sabi ko

Kinuha naman ni Liya ang dark green pouch. “Jervin changed a lot. He starts to become a snobbish. But I always saw him with Sandy.” She said

I smiled. There’s nothing here that’s left in my heart for him. When I heard his name, it’s like…normal. No hard feelings.

“Maybe because he wants to give his full attention to Sandy.” I said without looking Liya

She tapped my back and said, “Congrats Wendy, you really moved on.”

I chuckled and form a sweet smile on my face. “I told you. Wessley kasi eh.” Sabi ko

Namilog ang mga mata niya at naitakip pa niya ang kamay niya sa bibig niya. Kahit kailan talaga, OA ang best friend ko.

“You mean…you like him too?” she asked

I put the red bag in the basket. I am going to buy this.

“No, I don’t like him.” I quickly said

Umalis na ako sa stall at lumipat naman sa mga damit ng branded na newly arrived din. Hinabol ako ni Liya at naguguluhang nagtanong ulit.

“But you said---

“I love him. Is that enough to said?” sabi ko to cut down her question

Unti-unti siyang napangiti at tumawa na parang baliw. She even jumped due to happiness. “I knew it! Oh my gosh! I want to pee because of kiligness!” she over reactedly said

Some people are starting to look us. Hinila ko si Liya at madaling linisan ang lugar na iyon. Talaga naman oh, OA na nga, eskandalosa pa. Hay.

Humantong kami sa bilihan naman ng mga pants. Parang baliw na nakangiti parin si Liya na katabi ko.

“Hey, are you alright?” I asked

Instead of answering me, she also asked me a question.

“When did you found out you are already inlove with him? Oh my gosh Wendy! I am so happy for you.” Sabi nya sabay hug

Niyakap ko rin naman siya pabalik dahil sa kasiyahan na nadarama ko. I feel so complete. Now that I say what’s really inside my heart, it really feels so good.

“Hmm, I don’t know either. Basta, one day I just found out seeing my self smiling just because I think of him.” Sabi ko

“The evidence is strong. You’re smiling again.” She said

Ngumiti ulit ako at nagpatuloy na kami sa pag-sstroll sa mall. Masaya ako. Masayang-masaya. Feeling ko problem free ako today. Kaya lulubusin kona.
