I hope this isn't creepy or anything but I've seen other people do it so I thought that it wouldn't be completely uncalled for, right!
I just wanted to thank a couple people who have been supportive of my writing.
Thank you to Tuffnut_and_Chicken and Queenie381. You both have been the most supportive of my books, and it's really awesome of you to be so nice.
I do appreciate all who read my book but just wanted to give a shoutout to these two.
Thank you to all who read! I am super grateful!
With that said, enjoy!!!
Hiccup stormed down the hall as Tuffnut ran after him, ignoring the people laughing at Hiccup's outburst.
"Hey, wait up!" Tuff yelled, but Hiccup didn't slow down.
"What's your problem? Whatever you are wanting I don't have it." He scoffed. "I don't have anything myself, so I don't think I need to give you anything." He snapped angrily.
"Calm down, man. Until about 3 minutes ago you just seemed like a pretty chill person." He joked, awarding a small smile from Hiccup as he lowered his guard slightly. "Do I get a name to work with?" Tuff asked.
Hiccup rolled his eyes. "Hiccup."
"Well, Hiccup, I have Geography." He said, looking down at his schedule. "What do you have?"
"Science." He sighed, looking at his paper. That teacher hated him. They all did, though, so he couldn't really complain.
"Well, I'll catch ya later, man!" He said, and the energetic kid bounced down the hallway, stopping to talk to someone he didn't know as Hiccup headed off in the opposite direction, still a little confused as to why this kid decided to talk to him.
He walked into science directly on time, in his seat the exact moment the bell rang.
"Hiccup." The teacher, Mr. Vorg sneered. "You're late."
He stared stupidly at the teacher.
"I was on time! Maybe you'd know that if you could do something as simple as reading clocks! He retorted.
"Change your attitude, 'Mr. Misunderstood,'" he said using the name Hiccup used for himself, "Or I'll send you down to the principal's office." He threatened as the whole class stared at the two fighting, waiting for Hiccup's reaction.
"Am I supposed to be scared?" He asked mocking him.
"GET OUTTA HERE, HADDOCK!" The teacher boomed.
"Never wanted to be here in the first place." He said, turning and heading towards the principal's office.
Once he entered the office, the receptionist glared at him and he gave her a cheeky smile.
"So delighted to see you. It's always a pleasure." He said tauntingly.
"I wish I could say the same." The lady spat pointing to a chair before returning to her work.
He sat down and put his hands over his eyes. He was definitely going to get a beating for this one, literally.
"Hey, man, long time, no see!" Tuff cheered, bounding into the room with a great enthusiasm.
"Sir!" The receptionist snapped. "Sit down, now!"
Tuff stopped and frowned, then broke out a smile. "I'm sorry, Miss, you probably have a lot of work to do. It's just my first day!" He grinned cheekily.
