I know that it changes from 3rd person to 1st person, but I just thought it would be more real if you could see it through Astrid's eyes.
DO NOT THINK THAT THIS WILL BE HAPPY.
Enjoy!!!
It had started pouring rain as soon as Tuff's car pulled away from the side of the street.
Astrid regretted not accepting a ride but knew that it was for the best. If word got out that she was hanging out with Hiccup, she'd never hear the end of it from the entire school.
She pulled her hood up over her hair and walked quickly to school.
As she walked into the parking lot she saw Hiccup and Tuffnut talking before getting out. She looked closer and saw a smug smile was plastered on his face, and he was looking right at her.
She looked down at her rain-soaked clothes. This was all his fault.
She looked up into the sky, staring at the falling freezing rain.
The rain reminded her of so many awful memories.
It did every time.
Sometimes her memories were too painful.
Her memories threatened to spill out of the box in which she kept them so tightly locked.
She needed to get out of the rain.
She made her way to the door, but she felt as though she wouldn't make it in time.
She felt her vision narrow, her breathing became staggered, and her feet become sluggish.
She was speeding up, the door was so close.
Hiccup was in front of her, already inside the safety of the building.
He glanced back at her.
She stumbled and stopped.
She closed her eyes, pausing for a moment before her memories dripped into her heart and contaminated her soul. She couldn't breathe. She decided to give in to the tragedy that spread through her and crumpled to the ground.

It was raining.
Ms. Popular was going to get soaked.
Hiccup relaxed in the passenger's seat of Tuffnut's car and smiled.
They began to talk about the most meaningless stuff in the world, and he was actually enjoying himself.
They made it to school early, so they stayed in Tuff's car and talked until Hiccup saw Astrid approaching. She was completely soaked.
He smiled and climbed out of the car with Tuff.
He saw Astrid glanced at him and gave her the evilest smile he could muster. He turned and walked into the school, looking back to see Astrid's reaction.
Strangely, she was staring up at the sky, letting the rain run down her skin.
She looked... Kind of... Beautiful.
He stopped for a second and turned around, watching her in silence.
As she looked forward again he sharply switched his gaze to Tuffnut who was asking what he was doing.
Out of the corner of his emerald eye, he continued to watch Astrid as she came towards the building. Her face had become extremely pale.
She stumbled a few steps, and I stopped listening to Tuff.
