The hardest part about writing your own story is you know exactly how it's going to end.

I decided to be kind and not leave a cliff hanger AND get Hiccstrid-y.

Enjoy!

The ambulance surprisingly made it down to the beach without tipping over.

The paramedics got out of the car and saw a group of teenagers huddled together.

They all were extremely quiet.

The paramedics grabbed two stretchers and brought them over to the group.

"We got a 9-1-1 call." The paramedics said as the attention of the entire group was focused on them.

A pathway was cleared to the center of the group where two boys were lying in the sand.

Next to one of the boys was a girl with honey-gold hair trying desperately to wake the boy up.

The paramedics went into the middle and put both boys on stretchers.

The girl stood up, one of the paramedics noticed the tears in some's faces including hers.

"They'll be alright." He said, giving a sympathetic smile before rushing away with the other doctors.

Astrid got up and ran beside them, as did Ruff.

She felt horrible for them.

It was all their faults, Tuff and Hiccup hadn't even wanted to come, but they saved a guy who was an utter jerk.

While she was jogging alongside the stretchers she looked at Hiccup.

He opened his eyes ever so slightly.

She stopped.

The paramedics kept going.

His head followed her and their eyes didn't break contact until the doors of the ambulance slammed shut.

"Okay, guys. Guess we're done here. See you at school tomorrow." She called, and the group made the trek up to their cars and drove away one by one.

"What do we do now?" Heather asked.

"I have to see my brother. Come on, I grabbed our keys. Let's go." Ruff said, headed for her car.

"I'll meet you guys over there." Heather said, and she went to her car with Paradox following.

"I'll ride with you, Ruff." Astrid declared, knowing that she could use a friend.

"Thanks."

They got in the car and drove as fast as they could to the hospital.

Once they had parked, they rushed inside.

Ruff ran up to the front desk and practically threw herself on top of it.

"I need to see my brother!" She exclaimed.

The receptionist, who was currently on the phone, glared at Ruff.

Holding her hand over the phone she snapped at Ruff. "I'm afraid you'll have to wait like everyone else."

She put the phone back to her ear and wrapped up her conversation.

When she was done, Ruff and Astrid were still standing there.

"What?" She sighed.

"I'm sorry, ma'am. My friend is just worried about her brother. Did two teenagers come in from a shark attack?" Astrid asked kindly.
