It's a time for celebration!

So, I will bring you new updates, starting today!!!
(PS Sorry about yesterday, I accidentally published it when I hadn't finished it. My bad!)
(PPSS Posting this now because I have a dance after school today.)
Enjoy!!!
Astrid went to bed thinking about what Hiccup had said.
Sure, she never thought that she would be friends with a guy like Hiccup, but she never knew what was underneath the surface of a rude, snarky kid. He was, in fact, a genuinely nice guy, and now she realized he needed more help than he let on. From what she'd seen, he had a terrible home life. She knew if there was one thing she could do to help, then it would be to get him to talk to Tuffnut again.
From what she'd discover thus far, though, it was not going to be an easy feat.
In fact, it was going to be quite the opposite. From what she knew about Hiccup, she doubted he was one to forgive. He was rather obstinate, and she was going to have to figure out how to trick him into forgiving Tuffnut. He was probably the best thing that would ever happen to the scrawny boy (besides Toothless, of course) and she wasn't giving up hope.
She made a decision.
Tuff answered on the 2nd ring. He sounded really depressed, and she kind of felt bad for the guy. (Actually, she felt really bad because this whole thing was her fault.)
"Tuffnut."
It was the most mundane answer she'd ever heard.
"Hey, Tuff."
"Astrid, you know I'm mad at you, right? Not only did you hurt the only thing Hiccup really cares about, but you made me look untrustworthy! Hiccup hates me now, and it's all your fault!"
She winced at the harsh words. While they were very true, it was hard to hear them be spoken by the one you feel most guilty about.
"Look, Tuff, you have every right to be mad at me. But, if you're willing, I want to help you get Hiccup to talk to you again."
"How are you gonna do that?"
"I'm not... one hundred percent sure yet."
"Are you any percent sure?"
"Um, no."
"Well, this sounds like a great plan already."
She'd not yet seen this side of Tuffnut. From what she knew he was cheery and bouncy, not dark and sarcastic. (Basically me irl personified.) She knew that she would now have to think of a plan, and fast.
"I got it!" She felt rather proud of herself as a genius idea was set in her head.
"What?"
"We turn the tables! I know it's mean, but I'll make Hiccup feel like it was his fault, let it roll around in his head, and then you come over and he's the one apologizing to you!"
"Wait, why is Hiccup at your house?"
"That's easy. My parents are vets, so I had them fix up Toothless."
"Well, the fact that he's okay might make my chances easier. I hope your plan works."
She was about to open her mouth to assure him it would, but just as she did, the line went dead.
"Rude." She muttered.
She crept back downstairs to find Hiccup still playing with Toothless.
His eyes widened slightly until he realized it was just her and visibly relaxed.
"Hey, what's up?" He asked.
She swallowed the guilt she had for tricking him and set her plan into action.
"Are you ever going to forgive Tuffnut? I mean, it wasn't exactly his fault, if you think about it."
Hiccup sighed, closing his eyes and rubbing his face with his hand. "Astrid, I've already told you I don't wanna talk about it."
"I know that, but just hear me out. Tuffnut deserves that much." When Hiccup didn't respond, she continued. "Tuffnut has been more than just your friend since he came here, he's been your best friend. I feel like---"
"I know, Astrid! I get it! You think I should forgive him! Life isn't always that easy, though. It's not sunshine and roses, butterflies and happy times! I feel awful for the way I treated him! But you know what, I should be mad at you! Once again, you judge people based on situations that you can't even begin to understand." He sighed, burying his face in his hands. "You don't understand."
As if on cue, the doorbell rang, echoing through the large, quiet house.
Toothless and Stormfly jumped up, barking as Astrid and Hiccup walked up to the door.
Astrid went to open it but paused for a second.
"Hiccup, maybe you should answer the door."
He looked at her, confused and skeptical. "But, this is your house."
She rolled her eyes. "Just open it!"
Hiccup shrugged and pulled the door open.
His surprised emerald green eyes met gray ones.
"Tuffnut!"
"Hey, Hiccup."
Yayyyyyy
I finished earlyyyyy (but I still didn't post until Wednesdayyy)
I know this chapter is short-ish for me, but I haven't free written in a while so it's going to take a bit to get my creative juices flowing.
See ya next time!
Oh, and my next update will probably be Love is Poison.
