I just wanna point this out, in case you have missed it: my early chapters were written in a more light-hearted manner, the tone is casual, and I'd even say, not too deep. Mid-way, you'll see Camila changing a bit, showing her friskier side, being as potty-mouthed as Lauren is, among other stuff... And in the latter half of my story, you'll know when things shift. My chapters have turned darker, a bit depressing. My characters' pov have become a tad bit cynical. That's because from kids (romantic idealists), they've come to experience life and love, they have matured and grown, and now they are adults. Jaded, but maybe still hopeful.
What I'm trying to say is, I purposely wrote the first half in a more childish tone, mirroring the mental state of my characters, since it's their povs. I hope I delivered.
Meanwhile, let's all look forward to what both ot4 and Camila has to offer and let's not dwell on the negative stuff. What's done is done. Let's just focus on their future music. 😘
Much love!
