The video starts. It shows District Twelve and I start to think it's the wrong video, but I don't stop myself from watching it. The video starts with the bombing of the district. The video shows more and more. Snow speaks overhead, but I don't want to listen to him. I won't.
The last scene show Katniss' home destroyed and her family dying. My heart drops. She watched all of this.
The victors flash up on the screen.I don't hesitate. My eyes search the screen. She's there. I see her light blue eyes filled with tears, just as mine are. She's so close, but at the same time so far. She should've never been this far. She should've always been within reach. She should've been with me.
Annie didn't deserve this. They killed her. They killed the girl I loved. They killed her, they killed me. A wedding, a family, a life, all gone within an instant. And the Capitol killed her. They killed the beautiful girl with the beautiful blue eyes.
