Artifical Love

Chapter Forty Two

Sehun entered the room with a bag of chips and sodas. He hands Luhan and Taehyung each. "So.. have you guys finally came to a conclusion?" He asks and opens a can. Luhan sighs, "well he did try sleeping, going to a calm place but still no use" Taehyung holds his hair in frustration. "He locked himself entirely, I can't even reach him" Sehun sighs. "Baekhyun must've been so sad... his boyfriend isn't even here to comfort him"

Luhan smiles as an idea comes to his mind, he turns to Sehun and smiles, "babe you're the best" Sehun and Taehyung looked at him in confusion. "There is one person that can change Baekhyun in an instant"

Chanyeol couldn't believe what he's hearing, but why now? After all those years that he waited and suffered because of Kyungsoo. "I'm sorry if I was dumb and a coward. But this time I am ready, I realized that I should fight for our love" Chanyeol chuckles with sarcasm, "our love? Since when did it become us when all you did was get angry at me" Kyungsoo holds his hand, "I know, it was all my mistake, give me a chance Chanyeol."

Chanyeol looks at Kyungsoo clearly, his heart is full of joy by what he's hearing but somehow something is off. "Why now? What happened and made you realize all of this?" Kyungsoo shook his head and bit his lip. Before he could answer, Chanyeol's phone rang, the both of them turned and saw Baekhyun's name on the screen.

Chanyeol's eyes widen, he started to feel his heart  beat a little faster that surprised him as well. He immediately let go of Kyungsoo's hand and gets his phone, something that Kyungsoo didn't expect as well.

"Hello? Baek?"

Kyungsoo watched as Chanyeol answered the phone, full of worry and anticipation. He looked as Chanyeol got dressed so quickly and leaves the unit without even saying good bye to him. A tear fell from the latter's eyes. "So it's him huh.. the reason why you don't care about me anymore" he sighs and as he gets up, he steps on a blue notebook.

Chanyeol is in a rush, he was not expecting to hear Luhan beg but he knows that he needs to see Baekhyun. He wants the old sunshine back and he feels so guilty that he's been busy with Kyungsoo when --- his thoughts stopped. "Why am I feeling guilty for? We're not in a relationship and clearly I'm not cheating.." he mumbles. He frowns and takes a deep breath, "Park Chanyeol get your act all together. You need Baekhyun to move on from Kyungsoo.. you need him. Yeah.. that's why he needs to be back.."

Taehyung irritatedly frowns and looks away, he and Chanyeol are now at the roof top of the hospital, thanks to Luhan who requested their privacy. "This is stupid" he adds and crosses his arms. "Luhan has a point and you know it. I've seen the two of you swap infront of me. If you really care about ---" Chanyeol was cut off when Taehyung shouts. "Shut up!"

"Since when did you become this kind huh? What do you need from Baekhyun? How many effin times do I have to tell you to go away?" Taehyung says with rage in his tone. Chanyeol sighs and looks at the view as well. "You're a freaking robot! You're supposed to be one. You were fine without him right? You have your whole life figured out and no one should break it. But why are you here Chanyeol? Why are you wasting time on Baekhyun? Why can't you move on from Kyungsoo without using anybody? Why must you hurt the one I love the most!!"

Chanyeol stops and turns to Taehyung in shock. "What?" Taehyung's eyes are full of rage and pain. "Y-you.. you love Baekhyun?"
