Chapter Fifty Three

The ride was quiet. Chanyeol is dying to ask Baekhyun what happened but somehow he decides not to. He wants to respect Baekhyun and for the latter to trust him. By the way Baekhyun trembles, Chanyeol can say that something more happened. Something that Baekhyun never mentioned to him.

Baekhyun on the other hand, tries his best not to fall asleep, even his mind and body tells him to. His nervousness is almost gone, but he is still not okay. Heck, he knows he'll never be okay. He is so thankful for Chanyeol and he knows that the giant wants him to say something, but deep inside Baekhyun knows that he shouldn't involve Chanyeol into his life, not after what Kyungsoo told him.

Baekhyun's thoughts stopped when he realized that they are in Chanyeol's apartment. "w-why are we here? I thought you'll take me home?" Chanyeol parked the car and stops the engine. "This is also your home"

Baekhyun wants to cry. A lot of things happened today and his heart hurts so much. He looks at Chanyeol and how much he wanted to hug him tight. But his trauma and their situation is stopping him.

Chanyeol can see the tears forming on the latters eyes. "Hey, don't cry.. I'm here. I'm always here for you. Everything is fine now" Baekhyun bit his lip and looks away. Chanyeol sighs, "Baekhyun tell me what's wrong. What happened back there? How did you end up with that man and why did he beat you up? Why don't you want me to touch you? Why are you ignoring me"

Baekhyun looks down, this is what he always does with Taeyeon. He shuts her out, he pushes her away because he is so afraid to tell her the truth. He is doing the same thing to Chanyeol. Pushing him away, hurting him because he doesn't want him to be involved anymore. He knows what Kyungsoo said was right; Chanyeol can't be gay. He has some responsibilities and Baekhyun is not a part of it, but deep inside him, he knows that Chanyeol really has sincere feelings for him.

"Baekhyun. Please, say something. Talk to me." Chanyeol pleads that surprised Baekhyun the most. This is not the typical Chanyeol he sees everyday. He doesn't have those cold stares he usually has.

Baekhyun is confused, so bad that his mind is spinning. He wants to tell Chanyeol everything, about his traumas, about Kyungsoo and about the stranger a while back. But his mind is so blurry that all he was able say was a single sentence that changed Chanyeol's expression in an instant.

"I'm so damn inlove with you, Park Chanyeol"
