Chapter Forty Six

Taehyung stopped. He doesn't know why but he feels nervous and guilty. He didn't want to hear everything, it's just an accident but the way his body felt feels like he did it on purpose.

He slowly turned and was surprised to see how devastated Chanyeol looks. He never knew that this air head could experiece something bad in his life. Somehow Taehyung feels guilty by judging the giant.. Taehyung shakes his head, what the hell is he thinking about? Chanyeol is a jerk! He knows it. The way Chanyeol looks can already say how a douchebag he is.

"What brings you here?" Chanyeol repeats the question, this time hoping that Baekhyun is the one infront of him but he knows it's impossible. Taehyung gulps, "I.. I talked to Eunji awhile ago.. she.. she wanted to bring Baekhyun back". Chanyeol smirks, something Taehyung didn't expect to see after what he heard. "But you told me that I can't bring him back, remember?" Taehyung frowns, "aish!! Never mind!" He is about to walk away when Chanyeol grabbed his arm and hugs him. A hug that Taehyung never felt from anybody before. It feels so warm and comforting, he somehow feels protected even though he knows that Chanyeol is the one who needs protection at the very moment.

"I.. need you.. Baekhyun. I need your sunshine, your smile, your voice. I need you right now" he mumbles.

Taehyung knows how sincere it is. He is too indenial to the fact that Chanyeol really cares about Baekhyun. He is so selfish to admit that maybe Chanyeol is the person for Baekhyun. But in this moment, he wants Baekhyun to hear Chanyeol's pleas. He wants Baekhyun to be there for Chanyeol how he was there for Baekhyun.

"I... need you Baek.." Chanyeol repeats and suddenly he feels that the person he's hugging faint.

Chanyeol catches Baekhyun before he hits the floor. He watched how beautiful Baekhyun looks like. How calm he is, but he knows that behind that gorgeous face, is pain. Chanyeol sighs, "how unlucky are we.. to experience this pain when all we wanted to have is happiness?"

He carried Baekhyun to his room and lay on his bed. He is about to get some blankets when he hears Baekhyun mumble, "Chanyeol.." Chanyeol turns and for the first time in a while, he could feel his heart beat fast in happiness after seeing Baekhyun again.

Baekhyun continues to eat the food Chanyeol made for him. Other than being tired, he feels awfully hungry. He stops when he notices that Chanyeol has been watching him. "What?" He asks and takes a huge bite. Chanyeol smiles, stands up and starts moving closer to him. "W-what!!" Baekhyun reacts but he couldn't move his body since Chanyeol already held his shoulders. Chanyeol looked at him, as if they haven't seen each other for years.

"Baekhyun ah.."

"What"

Chanyeol smiles and kissed the latter. Baekhyun couldn't move, he watched as Chanyeol goes back his seat and smiles at him. "What was that for?"

Chanyeol looks at him, something Baekhyun never noticed before. "I miss you, Baek. It's good to see you again. Don't you dare leave me again, okay? I..." Chanyeol paused, he smiles and shakes his head. "Just don't leave me again. I hate it when you that"

Baekhyun couldn't understand what the hell Chanyeol is talking about, but his heart is happy, despite the loss of his mother, he is glad that his life isn't that ruined after all.
