Artifical Love

Chapter Six

Luhan looks at Baekhyun with disbelief after the latter explained to him what really happened. "I really thought you and Taeyeon would end up together" Luhan says as he ate popcorn, he really thought it would be interesting to eat popcorn while Baekhyun is telling his story.

Baekhyun fakes a smile, "well I don't know. I want her back but I know she already moved on" Luhan lays on Baekhyun's legs. "But that Chanyeol, what does he look like?" Baekhyun frowns and glares at his friend, "Luhan, I'm telling Sehun about that" Luhan chuckles and grabs his phone to search for Chanyeol. "I mean he must be special for you to be friends with him"

Baekhyun raises an eyebrow, "hey! I am friends with everybody" Luhan smirks but his expression changes when he finally finds Chanyeol's facebook account. "Yah.. You didn't tell me that he looks good"

"Well he's sorta..." "Sorta?" Luhan asks as he shows Chanyeol's photo on Baekhyun's face. "He looks like a prince" Baekhyun is about to reach his friend's phone when Luhan moves away, he smirks

"you like him or he likes you?"

Chanyeol chuckles after hearing Kyungsoo's question, they decided to meet up at an ice cream store. "Why are you asking me that?" Chanyeol asks. Kyungsoo looks down on his ice cream. "I am still your bestfriend after all, I want to know"

Chanyeol smirks, "you know I don't feel anything" Kyungsoo looks at him, Chanyeol starts eating his banana ice cream. Of course it is impossible not to feel anything but Kyungsoo knows what Chanyeol means. Kyungsoo takes a deep breath, "I never saw you rush to anybody before"

"I did that to you" Kyungsoo stops and looks at Chanyeol's eyes once more. "So we're on the same level huh?" Chanyeol wants to make Kyungsoo jealous, he just loves to see how Kyungsoo loves him but the same time he's afraid of its impact on him.

Baekhyun rolls his eyes, "Luhan, stop it" Luhan laughs, "I know, I don't want you to be queer, I just think you guys look good together" Baekhyun can feel his heart beat a little bit faster, he suddenly remembered their scene by the locker that he didn't even mind before, how close their faces are, the way Chanyeol looked at him.

Honestly, he never tried observing Chanyeol's face before. Maybe it's because they only have one subject together and besides Baekhyun is not the type to observe people since he's always busy with Taeyeon. But at that moment in the lockers, he realized how pretty Chanyeol's eyes were.

He also never thought that Chanyeol would rush up to meet him the other day, since they're not that close, but maybe Chanyeol is such a good person that he wants to help Baekhyun.

A part of him knows that there's something missing, there's something he's not remembering and even if how much he tries to remember, he just can't.

Luhan's smile fades as he continues to analyze Baekhyun's reaction. "Byun Baekhyun... Why are you blushing?"

"Is this serious? Are you really Luhan?!" Kai exclaims as he watches Baekhyun and Luhan enter the college gate, wearing their school uniforms. Luhan sweetly smiles at his friend while Kai runs to hug Luhan. "I missed you buddy!" Kai exclaims while Luhan hugs him back.

Baekhyun smiles as he watches the two until he sees Chanyeol walking by, he's wearing black earphones as he seems to be busy with his phone. "Chanyeol!" Baekhyun shouts and decides to follow the latter.

Kai notices Luhan's sudden change of expression as he watches Baekhyun run to Chanyeol. Kai smiles, "I was surprised they got closer" Luhan sighs making Kai laugh, "don't worry, you're baby boy won't be in a relationship with Chanyeol" Luhan turns to Kai, "how can you be so sure?" Kai laughs, a little hysterically to be exact.

"Dude, Baekhyun is still inlove with Taeyeon and besides I don't think he'll be queer because of Chanyeol and well Chanyeol is not really into relationships" Kai explains, a little proud knowing his friends well. Luhan nods, before he can ask again, he receives a message from Sehun.

Chanyeol stops when he felt someone touch his arm, he never lets anyone touch him, including his one night stands where he does all the work, he finds satisfaction when the other person is in deep pleasure. He turns his head with irritation but he immediately shows his fake smile when he realizes its Baekhyun.

"Um, about the other day, I'm really sorry for leaving like that, I can't remember why I left..." Baekhyun explains as he watches Chanyeol remove the headset and listen to him. Chanyeol smiles, a fake one but Baekhyun is dumb enough to realize this, making Baekhyun stiff. "It's nothing, just make it up to me next time" Baekhyun couldn't move, it's not the usual Chanyeol he sees, especially after
the fierce Chanyeol by the lockers.

Chanyeol puts back his headset on and starts walking, leaving a surprised Baekhyun behind. He sighs, he needs Baekhyun to distract him therefore he will be nicer to the latter. Since Baekhyun can't even read expressions, it will be easier for Chanyeol to act around him.

Honestly, Chanyeol doesn't know why he chose Baekhyun of all people. Baekhyun is such an innocent guy who is still depressed on his recent break up and Chanyeol knows that he'll be stuck listening to Baekhyun's sad romance over and over again, Chanyeol somehow knows that he needs Baekhyun and his old sunshine self, to stop Chanyeol from falling for Kyungsoo.
