Chapter Sixty

It was 7:30 pm when the group arrived outside Chanyeol's condominium. Suho looks at the group and reiterates what they have talked about. "So, as Kai told us, Mrs. Park goes home at 8 pm. Her car is usually parked by the right side of the condo. So we will enter  by 8:10. Chen and Xiumin would go straight to the guards to distract them while Luhan, Sehun and Baekhyun are going to Chanyeol. Kai is incharge of Kyungsoo who will arrive here at exactly 9 am. I'll contact you once I see trouble, okay?"

Everyone nods except for Baekhyun who is still alseep. Luhan smiles, "I'll wake him up in a while" the rest of the team nod and prepare themselves.

Kai is waiting by Kyungsoo's house. He knows that the small guy is never late. It takes him exactly 1 hour before he reaches Chanyeol's place. His heart is beating fast, from excitement and nervousness. His thoughts were disturbed when he hears the gate open.

"Kyung!"

Kyungsoo was surprised to see the tanned man and somehow he can sense that something is going to happen. "What brings you here?" Kai smiles, he knows that Kyungsoo can sense it but Kai believes that his plan is going to work, it has to.

"I'm just here... to tell you to stop this"

Kyungsoo was taken aback; Kai never talked about his relationship with Chanyeol. Heck, he never dared talking to him. "Who are you to say those things to me?"

Kai gulps, his thoughts were clouded with 'I have to use a lot of time so that Kyungsoo will be late'. "I know you hate me to death for some reason I don't know but I can't take this anymore. Chanyeol is suffering. If you really love him ---" he was cut off when Kyungsoo laughs.

"So you're telling me that Chanyeol should be with Baekhyun instead? That all I did for Chanyeol was to bring him harm?"

Kai sighs, he can see the pain on Kyungsoo's eyes. He is also aware that Kyungsoo did everything for Chanyeol and how hard it is to see Chanyeol love someone else. "I know how much you love Chanyeol but this is not right and besides, Chanyeol loves Ba--" he stops once again when Kyungsoo hands him a blue notebook. "See for yourself. If you think you have everything figured out, think again."

"What is this?" Kai asks as he tries to scan the notebook. Kyungsoo smirks, "Chanyeol's reason for having people in his life. The reasons why he uses people and their benefits to him." Before Kai could react, Kyungsoo rides his car and leaves.

Chen and Xiumin are already inside the condimium. Mrs. Park left the building 10 minutes ago. Luhan slowly wakes Baekhyun up, while Suho and Sehun were talking.

When his eyes opened, Luhan knows that it's already Taehyung. "Are you really sure that you don't want Baekhyun to witness this?" Luhan whispers. Taehyung lightly smiles and nods. "I still can't put him to danger, Luhan. I have to make sure that Baekhyun is okay." Luhan nods, they stopped Suho and Sehun's little chat and the 3 leaves.

When Sehun, Luhan and Taehyung enters the building. They can hear Xiumin and Chen from the lobby. "Sir! We told you, this man is not moving his car away from mine! How am I suppose to leave now?!" Chen complains and points at Xiumin who frowns. "Excuse me! Why would I move my car! It's not even near your car!!"

Luhan smiles as the 3 of them enters the elevator. "Kai is not sure if there'll be guards by his door but we have to be prepared." Taehyung says while the couple nods. When the elevator door opened, Kai was right. There are 2 guards by Chanyeol's door.

Sehun turns to Luhan who gulps. "We can take care of the guards" Sehun assures his boyfriend but Luhan smiles. "No. Baekhyun wants to be the first one to see Chanyeol. Taehyung should do that"

"Excuse me, but you are not allowed in this level" one of the guards said. "We're just here to---" before Luhan can think of an alibi, Taehyung punched the guard. Sehun and Luhan turns to him in surprise. "what? We don't have much time"

Kai is dying of curiosity. He has been looking at the notebook since he rode his car. He knows it's not right to ruin Chanyeol's privacy but the same time he is curious as to what Chanyeol wrote about Baekhyun, or worse, about him.

Due to Sehun and Luhan's lack of experience when it comes to fighting, they easily got bruises but this did not stop them. Taehyung appreciates their effort but decides to finish everything in one go.

"I can't believe that innocent body can knock down to huge giants" Sehun compliments as they enter the room. Luhan is quiet since his face hurts a lot. Taehyung immediately runs to Chanyeol who is lying on the floor with blood all over his body.

"Chanyeol! Wake up!"

Luhan and Sehun were both surprised as well.

Chanyeol's eyes slowly opened. He turns to Taehyung and a smile formed his lips. "B-Baekhyun.."

Taehyung smiles, something that Luhan and Sehun didn't expect. "Yeah.. I'm here. Let's go home"
