Harry's POV

Two weeks later

All of us, and by all of us I meant my family, Ariana's family, a few close friends, Liam, and Niall, were all supposed to be in my London home visiting Danny.

Apparently, someone wanted to rent out their old house and were expecting a baby any time now, meaning, moving in as soon as possible. My mum offered her home, but Ariana thought it was too much to ask of her. When I offered mine, she said the same thing, but because I was Danny's father, she reluctantly agreed. Of course, she did warn me beforehand that a lot of people may show up, I just didn't think this many would have spent the night. Joan, Frankie, Nonna, Nonno, Lexie, my mum, Robin, Gemma, Ariana's friends Brian and Scott, as well as one of my cousins.  Although tonight was Ariana's friends and family's last night, her mum and brother had spent the last two weeks here and her grandparents were only here for a few days. Two of her friends had a dance class to teach in two days so their flight left the same as her family, Lexie had UNI and couldn't miss too many days.

Luckily, her dad was staying at a hotel, it was weird enough him being around. He and Ari haven't really spoken about their deeper issues, but for the sake of the situation, she'd forgiven him temporarily until they got a chance to talk.

Niall and Liam both have their own homes here in London, therefore they had no reason to stay at mine.

It was only the afternoon and my house was already hectic. Everyone was eating lunch anywhere there was room. It was the weekend, therefore, more people (family and a few mates) have called and asked if it was okay to come and wish him well. I asked Ari and she said any one I trusted was welcome.

We were both cautious as to who to allow into our home and who was trusted enough to keep this all in our personal lives. A few days before Danny was released, someone had leaked information to the magazines about what we were going through. Headlines next to headlines next to headlines. Of course we knew people would be suspicious, Ariana had cancelled the second part of tour for her first album, the band's break was extended, and we've both been off of social media.

My aunt Dee and her husband should be arriving anytime. My friends Jeff, his girlfriend Glenne, and Cara were on their way as well.

Ariana went to get dressed before the other guests arrived, when she returned, she was wearing a short white top, leggings, and some white shoes, with a sweater wrapped around her hips. She leaned against the kitchen counter and looked out at everyone spread out across the room. Already having an idea of what she was thinking, I went over to wrap an arm around her. She gave back a short smile, leaning her head against me.

"I know you said it's okay, but my shit is literally all around your house, my family are too." She told me.

I looked around, seeing her bag on the counter, a sweater of hers on the couch, a few of Mia's toys spread out on the floor, she had spread out a few photos of the twins as babies to surprise me, and her dogs were around somewhere. I remembered that even the loo had her things everywhere, her shampoos in the shower, makeup and perfume bottles on the sink. I shook my head and smiled, bringing her closer to me as I pressed a gentle kiss to her head.

"This is the most lively it's been since I moved in. It's actually pretty nice. Maybe you should just move in to keep it that way." I said, only half joking.

She pushed at my chest and laughed, "You'd kick me out two weeks in."

She walked away to go and check on Danny, see if he was up for spending time in the living area. She came back with him in her arms, her tiny size making him look bigger than he actually was. I received a text informing me of my aunt's arrival, asking me to open the front gate. I let them in the front door each asking how I've been doing. They followed after me as I told them I was doing quite well under the circumstance. They asked the common questions, when was he released from hospital, how did he act while in hospital, is he able to run around yet, is he able to eat. Already somewhat used to these types of questions, I answered back calmly. He was released from hospital about a week ago. He behaved quite well, though he did try to pull out the cannula several times. He can't run yet, but the doctors did recommend he walked around for a few minutes several times a day. He can eat, but only very limited portions.
