Ariana's POV
"Hey." I awkwardly said to her. She ignored me and looked at Harry. He looked anywhere but her, which made her speak up.
"Your mother and I are going to the flower garden she told me about earlier. I convinced her to take us."
"That's lovely of her, but just the two of you and Robin should go. Get to know each other a bit." He told her. She gave him a look, then walked back into the kitchen. A few minutes later her and Anne came out, grabbing their coats.
"Hey, Anne. I'll just walk out with you guys, there's no point in me staying if you and Robin won't be here." I told her. Taylor looked relieved that I wouldn't be staying here.
"No, love. I'm sorry, it completely slipped my mind. Just stay here. We'll be back in an hour or so. We'll talk when I get back."
I simply nodded and she came to hug me. We stood like that for a while. I hated being alone and she knew that. After they all left, I went and sat next to Danny, pulling him into my arms.
"Mommy needs a hug, baby." I told him. He put the phone down and cuddled with me. We weren't sat for long when Mia's cries echoed in the house. Before I could get up, Harry had got up and went up the stairs. I heard mumbling and assumed he had went to go and get her. When he came back down with her, she was holding onto his neck tightly.
"Mimi okay?" Danny asked her. She just nodded her head. Since both of the kids were slowly falling asleep Harry decided to speak up.
"How are you?"
"Stressed, tired, missing my mom." I told him.
"Where is she?"
"Business trip in New York."
"So you're doing promo, and spending most of your time in the studio, while having to watch these two, all by yourself?" He asked surprised.
"The life of a parent," I said, then continued, "My nona was supposed to fly over, but one of her friends got sick and needed help."
He nodded his head then said, "What about my mum? She doesn't y'know, help?"
"Of course she does, but I can't always rely on your mom alone. She has a life too."
"What are you doing tomorrow?" He randomly asked.
"Umm, promo starting at 10 AM and that doesn't end until 4:30. Then I go to the studio right after, and I have a meeting with potential management at 10 PM."
"Wow, and what about the kids?"
"Hopefully asleep by then." I said.
"I can watch them for you tomorrow."
That caught me by surprise.
"What?"
"Sorry, I wasn't thinking when I said that, it just came out. But I do mean it. I have the day off tomorrow anyway."
"Harry, I appreciate the thought, but I don't think you understand what you're proposing."
"Yeah, I do. I know promo can be a pain in the ass, and adding two toddlers to that would be stressful. I've babysat Lux before, I can do it."
I didn't know who Lux was, but I didn't mention that.
"Harry, these are two babies, not one. When one of them wants a nap, the other is still hyper. When one is hungry, the other refuses to eat. It's rare when they decide to watch the same cartoons. It's a lot to handle." I told him honestly.
