"This is such a bad idea" you whispered to Lydia through the phone "you know what else is a bad idea? Ignoring me!" She hollered back "for the hundredth time i left my laptop in the library" you replied "well you look like a queen" she replied "yeah you look hot!" Malia yelled in the background
You looked at the girls house that the party was at Kieran had said her name was 'Brooke'. "Do I look nervous?" You whispered "no you look good" Lydia said sounding unsure "does she look nervous?" Malia whispered "oh yeah petrified" Lydia responded "yeah I can still hear you!" You whisper yelled rolling your eyes.
"Just breath okay? Allison's coming over we're gonna have a sleepover, we wish you were here!" Lydia said with her usual peppy tone "and besides that hot guy invited you! Hear me hot guy, HOT GUY Y/N"
You giggled "I get it lyds hot guy. I'm going in" you ended the call and took a breath before getting out of your car and made your way to the front door. You looked at the piece of paper taped to the door 'its unlocked just come on it!'
You smiled at it before opening the front door and stepping in
"Anyway I was saying-" Brooke stopped talking when she saw you "who invited her?" She asked "that ones on me" Kieran stood up from the couch and made his way to you "hey" he greeted pushing his hands into his pant pockets "hey" you replied smiling
"Glad you came wanna get a drink?" He pointed over his shoulder with a smile "yeah I'd love to" You said. He turned and started walking you following close behind you spotted Audrey and waved a little.
"You know her?" Emma asked leaning toward Audrey "me and Noah met her when she was moving in and she's in a few of my classes" Audrey stated and let out a sigh "she moved into ninas old house"
"Beacon hills, California?" Kieran asked with a laugh and took a sip of his beer you nodded and laughed "and now I'm here"
"I saw you sitting in your car today during last block you looked a little shaken up" you looked down and swirled the drink that was in your red solo cup "um yeah i just got a little note on my car but it's okay" you took a sip out of your cup "What note?"
You took the note out of the little pocket you had on your jacket "I don't know why I kept it but-" you handed Kieran the note, he unfolded it and read it you watched as his face turned to confusion and concern.
"That's weird and creepy" he handed you back the note "yeah but as long as I'm with you I guess I'm safe" You said with a nervous chuckle Kieran nodded and laughed. "H-Hey y/n" Noah stood next to Kieran "Hi Noah, right?" You asked he smiled and nodded "ill be right back" Kieran said before you could protest he had already walked away.

"Its cool that your here everyone seems to like you already" Noah said he brought his hand to his neck and scratched it you smiled and nodded taking a sip of your drink "I wanted to ask what are you?"
You furrowed your eyebrows together Noah saw your confusion "I mean like straight, gay, bi-" "oh yeah I get it um- Im straight" You quickly replied. "Oh" was all he said "yeah" you pressed your lips together "Im gonna go sit by the pool, see later" you walked away letting out a sigh. Fuck.
You took your heels off and sat them next to you before sitting and letting your feet rest underwater. You looked around and smiled enjoying the cool air it reminded you of a cool summer night in California. You brought your hand up and played with the jewel on your choker you licked your lips grabbing the note out of your pocket again.
"Audrey! We got a problem" Noah grabbed Audrey by her arm pulling her away from Emma "What Noah what?" She asked annoyed "y/n she's straight" Audrey titled her head confused "what?"
"I asked her and she said-" "what you asked?!" Audrey slapped Noah's chest "first off ow! And second what's wrong with that??" Noah asked frantically Audrey shook her head "You DONT ask people what their sexuality is! You probably made her nervous"
You looked up when someone sat next to you. You smirked when you saw Audrey "hey" she said smirking back "h-hi" you quickly put the note back in your pocket wanting to keep it a secret from her. "Sorry about Noah he can be a little awkward sometimes" she apologized "no it's okay" You said looking back at the pool.

You looked back at Audrey and saw she had her camera "are you filming me?" You asked covering your face with your hands Audrey laughed and admired you through the camera screen. You titled your head and smiled at her.
"Hey dyke" "Ever gonna choose between boys and girls" "Looking shitty as usual" You stopped smiling and so did Audrey as the insults came from the boys that walked by Audrey clenched her jaw and stopped smiling but didn't let her eyes leave the screen of the small camera she let out a sigh. She finally looked at you and closed the camera screen catching what you said on video. Audrey laughed "are you flirting with me?" She asked smiling "oh you wish" you replied ding.

Audrey asked seeing your sudden stage of panic "yeah I should get going" you moved your legs from out of the pool and put your heels back on not caring that your feet were wet "You havent been here long" Audrey said standing following you "I know I just think maybe this wasn't the best idea ill see you Audrey"
You quickly walked away Audrey sighed and looked down a little piece of paper catching her eye. She walked over and picked it up.
