Audrey rested her head on her hand as she watched you change into comfortable pajamas. Your mom would be home soon and you didn't want her to burst in your door seeing Audrey and you naked.
Audrey was still naked but she didn't seem to care. "Have you been okay lately?" Audrey finally broke the silence that was in your room, you turned to her as you pulled up your shorts "yeah I'm fine why?"
She played with the sheets that were covering her body "I was just thinking about how you were standing over by the Polaroid pictures earlier. Do you miss her?" You paused for a second before tying your black robe, knowing she was talking about Malia.
"Well yeah, but that doesn't matter right now Auds" You turned to face Audrey and climbed on the bed over to her "I got you now" you gave her a kiss which made her smile "go get dressed" you said getting under the covers. Audrey sighed but stood up walking around the room to find her clothes.
She put her black jeans back on which made you raise an eyebrow "why you putting them back on?" Audrey crawled over the bed and gave you a kiss "I can't stay tonight" she said crawling back off the bed. You pouted which made her laugh "sorry" she apologized and gave you one last kiss before walking out.
It was almost relieving to see her leave. The nightmares you had been having lately didn't always end pretty. Sometimes you could wake up screaming, shaking, and out of breath. You didn't want Audrey to see you like that, she would be so confused and worried. Audrey seemed so happy lately you didn't wanna ruin her happiness with your sadness.
