You sat in front of your mirror trying to put on your dark lipstick, even though the food would just take most of it off. Your phone buzzed with a notification and you picked it up eagerly hoping it was Audrey, telling you she was on her way or something like that. But it wasn't. Just a random meme Noah sent you.
There's was a knock at your opened door and you turned to see your mom standing there with a smile. "You look amazing" she said glancing at your outfit, you smiled and set your phone down. "So do you"

She let out an airy laugh and ran her hands down her dress walking to stand in front of your full length mirror "I'm not too sure about it, I can't decide between this and my silver dress." You got up and stood behind her "the silver dress is more fancy but either would be perfect"
The smile fell off her face "I'm very nervous, I hope you know that"
"There's nothing to be nervous about, just be your wonderful self" you placed your hands on her shoulders trying to give her some encouragement. She placed her hand over yours and gave you a smile in the mirror
The oven going off startled you both "I don't want to burn that" she ran the best she could out of your room and you could hear her heels clicking on the stairs as she rushed down them. You let out a chuckle and sat back down at your desk.
You ran your hands through your curled hair, refreshing your notifications over and over hoping something from Audrey would pop up. "Don't stress it too much" you turned your head to see Dustin leaning in your door way. You scoffed and tossed your phone down "Don't break your phone either"
You shook your head "what if she doesn't show up? How am I supposed to explain that?" You chewed on your lip thinking the worst about tonight.
"She's gonna show up" with that, Dustin walked away leaving you alone.
You took one last look in the mirror and walked to the bathroom, where you took your medicine and put on your necklace. "It's gonna be fine y/n, it's gonna be fine."

*gasp* did I really just update?? Yes, yes I did. Lol yeah I'm finally updating again, I've also been thinking about starting ANOTHER Audrey Jensen book. So if you'd read it let me know, I'm probably going to start it anyways because I really wanna write something new ❤️
