That's what the tunnel looks like btw ^

So, one moment you're just there living your life
You're breathing
You're smiling
You're crying
And then you're just....gone

You could feel the blood start to leak down your side, and the thick red substance stain your lips. Time seemed to slow down as you examined the blood slowly soaking your shirt. Your trembling fingers reached out to grip onto the wall and take a step forward increasing the thumbing of your beating heart. You slowly raised your phone to try and call Audrey but let it fall out of your shaky hands the clattering of it on the ground fell deaf to your ears, your hearing was reduced to nothing but a soft buzzing sound as if your ears were filling with static.

Your eyes were heavy but you still leaned on the wall keeping yourself up, you slowly blinked your eyes that were now becoming blurry as you saw Audrey and Noah appear in the end of the tunnel. Once Audrey saw you she started to run towards you Noah close behind you couldn't keep yourself up so you let your self fall forward only for Audrey to quickly catch you with the help of Noah

This was too familiar the night at your pool the searing hot pain coursed through your vains again as Audrey laid you on the ground placing your head in her lap. Noah grabbed his phone and frantically dialed 911. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, it's okay, you'll be okay" Audrey whispered the tears streaming down her pitiful face

You looked into her blue eyes with your pleading ones you raised a feeble hand to her face placing it on her jaw "I love you" you whispered making Audrey's eyes widen "no no this isn't goodbye remember? We're gonna get through this alive" you smiled sadly up at her "no you're gonna get through this not me"

"Fuck I didn't mean for this to happen" Audrey cried rocking back and fourth slightly. Her voice sounded far away but it was still there. You suddenly came to the fact how tightly she was holding you and how she was shaking so violently with no control.

The moon was rising from behind the clouds just as you were beginning to fall

"Don't be like that" you mumbled with the taste of blood still present on your tongue "this wasn't your fault" she shook her head almost making you dizzy. You couldn't look away from her this being the last time you would see the raven haired girl "I did this I brought you here" she protested "I did this" she whispered again

"Audrey" you said making her look at you "i forgive you please forgive yourself" you begged gripping her shirt with your free hand your muscles were weak obviously starting to fail on you. You didn't have much time, there was no chance to fight back. But only the chance to accept that you would be gone in a few minutes, seconds even.

Audrey's lip quivered as she tried to hold back more tears "I love you too" she whispered placing a kiss on your forehead. You heard Kieran run into the tunnel "what happened?" He asked acting cluelessly "I hope you burn in hell" you mumbled to him making him clench his jaw. You looked back up at Audrey "you have to tell- tell my mom-Dustin tell-" your breathing quickened before you let out a soft breath closing your eyes

Your hand fell from Audrey's face leaving a smear of blood as it fell back down to the ground.

A heart wrenching sob escaped Audrey's lips as she cradled your now limp body in her lap, she placed her head in the crook of your neck gripping your shirt as she pleaded for you to come back or open your eyes.

Arms pried Audrey from your cold body despite the protests and mournful heart twisting pleases. Noah pulled her into his chest as sobs racked her shoulders. Regret filling her mind as she wished she would have just stayed that night in the kitchen
