"Y/n put the silverware on the table" your mom handed you a handful of forks and knifes and you walked to the table placing them in everyone's spots next to the plates. "Audrey's still coming right?" Your mom asked as she set her homemade Mac and cheese on the table.

"Uhmm yea" you gave her a smile and walked away grabbing your phone from your pocket. Still nothing from Audrey. There was a knock at the door and you felt your heart speed up.

"Dustin!" You yelled and he came running into the hall "get the door, I gotta go get something" he nodded and you both went separate ways. You walking up the steps and him walking nervously to the door.

The night air hit your face as you stepped out onto your balcony leaving the door wide open behind you. You let out a sigh and leaned your elbows on the railing looking at the pool below.

You ran your hand through your hair and walked back into your room shutting the door behind you. You looked in confusion as you saw your bathroom light on, you walked over and saw Audrey.

"Jesus Christ Audrey" you mumbled, she turned and gave you a slight smile "you look nice" she whispered

"So do you"

She shook her head "im sorry" you walked behind her and wrapped your arms around her waist "it's okay" you whispered looking at her in the mirror.

Audrey turned her body to face you, forcing your arms off her. You were shocked for a second but felt better when she pulled you in for a long kiss.

Audrey pulled away for a second "I hope you know I'm really nervous about tonight" she said a soft laugh escaping her lips, you chuckled "it'll be okay" you whispered before continuing the kiss
