"Thanks so much" you said as someone handed you a 20 dollar tip and put it into your front pocket. You walked back to the kitchen and put the dishes into the sink "Dont forget to scrub the pans" you winked at Dustin as he was washing the dishes, as punishment for the alcohol he had to wash dishes for the diner you worked at. The money he made went to his phone bill.

"Y/n" you turned and saw Dianna a girl you worked with "yeah" you replied wiping your hands on your apron "table number 3 is asking for you" you crinkled your eyebrows together in confusion but grabbed your note pad and walked out from behind the counter. You let out a sigh when you saw the group sitting at a booth "what do you want?" You asked as you approached the table "a number 5 please" Brooke said politely

You cocked an eyebrow but wrote it down anyway "Thats different from the usual" you mumbled "getting out of my comfort  zone" she replied handing you the menu "yeah well its the usual for everyone else" Noah said handing you his menu

"Okay why are you here?" You asked knowing they don't just show up for fun "we want you to do something with us tonight" Audrey announced "no" you quickly said about to turn around but Kieran grabbed your wrist pulling you back. "Asshole" you muttered pulling your wrist away "we need you to ask who ever is closing the diner tonight for help" you looked over at Svetlana "she doesn't really speak English" you laughed slightly at the memory of her cussing a customer out in Russian

"Ask her if she'll help us catch the killer" Emma said putting her hand on the table "what are we now the fucking Scooby gang?" You asked putting a hand on your hip "um if we are I wanna be Daphne" Brooke raised her hand "I would be Daphne" you protested "can I be that one stoner?" Noah asked "what was his name Shaggy"

"He wasn't a fucking stoner" Audrey cussed looking at the nerdy boy "probably was he always had the munchies and i bet you he got high in the back of that flower van" Kieran said engaging in the conversation "you guys" Emma said stopping the conversation turning back to you "ask her if she'll help and about what she saw that night in the tunnel"

A few nights ago when Svetlana was walking home taking the little short cut in the tunnel she saw the mask hanging from a tree but never touched it. You let out a defeated sigh before walking over to her "Svetlana" you said making her look up at you

You walked back over to the table "What she say?" Kieran said leaning on the table "she said your a fucking idiot" you replied "well what did you say back" he asked glancing at Emma "that you also have small dick" Audrey   and put her head in her hands. "Im out" Brooke said throwing her hands up "what ?" Emma questioned "Stavo wants me to meet him tonight"

"Im out too" Emma said "seriously?" Audrey said obviously annoyed "i can't do it" Emma said truthfully. Audrey glanced at you "fine" you said giving in a smile formed on Audrey's face "when?" You questioned "let's meet in the parking lot here and at 11pm" you sighed and shook your head "can't believe Im doing this"
