Tuesday night

You laid on your stomach in bed flipping through the pages of the textbook. You actually didn't have study for this test, you knew everything that was going to be on it so there was really no point. You slammed the book shut and shoved it off your bed making a thudding noise on the ground. You sighed and rolled on your back grabbing your phone holding it above your face.

Audrey was already 20 minutes late which you didn't exactly appreciate. You sent Audrey a text asking where she was then tossed your phone to the side looking up at the ceiling. You couldn't help but think of the nights you and Malia would sit studying.

You and Malias study sessions started off as studying then ended with something else. You had been thinking about Malia a lot lately and you didn't exactly know why.

You walked into your room Malia laying on her back with the book above her face "Lia" you murmured lighting the candle that sat on your nightstand. She turned onto her stomach looking up at you "what?" She asked raising an eyebrow

"Do you even know what you're reading" you questioned crossing your arms over your chest "nope" she tossed the French book across the room. You laughed and sat on the bed with her "I don't understand like anything but you're a genius" she sat up and sat criss cross in front of you "you're smart too Mal"

"Not smart like you" she smiled at you and leaned in "Malia" you whispered before her lips could touch yours "you have to study, you gotta pass this test babe" you said to her. She sighed and looked down a pout on her lips.

You sighed and looked at her with a smile. You reached over to the lamp that sat on your nightstand and turned it off leaving only the candle as a source of light "come here" you said laying down. Malia looked up and smirked getting on top of you.

You sadly smiled at the memory of her. Malia really did deserve happiness, she could be tough and stubborn at times but when she was happy it was amazing. Her and Audrey's personalities were very similar. Speaking of Audrey you heard your phone start ringing so you quickly grabbed it "hey"
