"Im gonna die" You said looking down at the test you just got in your last class. Audrey had to bite her lip to keep herself from laughing at how adorable she thought you were at the moment.

"You got a 79 thats still good" Audrey and you moved in line one person away from ordering your coffee "and besides it's Friday, dont let this dumb test ruin your day" a smile found its way onto Audrey's face as she looked at you

"Ive never gotten a score lower than 80" You pouted Audrey laughed and stepped up to the counter, you pushed your hands into your pocket and looked around

You put your hand on Audrey's lower back "I'll be right back, you know what to get me right?" Audrey nodded and gave you a reassuring smile

You walked over and sat in the seat opposite of Stavo "hey" you said with a smile he looked up from his iPad to face you "hi" he simply replied
"Um I got you-" you reached into your bag and pulled out the iPad box and set it on the table "if you go to the Apple Store and give them that iPad they can transfer all the data off that onto this one"

Stavo sat up in his seat "You didnt have to buy me this" he said taking the box off the table "no it's fine this was nothing compared to what I spend on clothes sometimes" you laughed a little making him slightly smile. Stavo looked down at his iPad and handed it to you "woah" you said and starting swiping through the drawings

"It's a comic book, their creepy but really cool your a really drawer" handed his iPad back to him "thank you" he said holding the new iPad you gave him a smile before getting up from the seat and taking your place next to Audrey on the couch.

"That was nice" she handed you your coffee with a smirk on her face

"Shut up its your fault it's even broken, that money could have went to a new purse or pair of heels" you protested nudging her she laughed and looked down. You and Audrey had been together for a week now, you had doubts about it here and there because of the killings. You were afraid the killer would use Audrey against you to get what he wants or use you to get to Audrey. He did it before, who says he wouldn't do it before?

You stopped looking at Audrey when your phone starting to ring "hello?" You answered

"Y/n Byers?"

"This is she" You replied making Audrey raise an eyebrow at you

"One of the Lakewood top five dropped out if you would like to take her place"

"Um sure if be glad too" you said even more confusion crossed over Audrey's face

"Were glad just show up to the carnival in two weeks" the line went dead and you put your phone away "um i guess I'm taking someone's place for the lady of the lake pageant?" You said looking up at Audrey "I thought you skipped like all them rehearsals?" You nodded "oh no I did Im just as confused as you" you took a sip of your coffee and leaned back on the couch.
