Lady Knight

Soojung remained quiet throughout their walk to the place they call 'headquarters'. Jongin wondered if she's alright and also he's thinking how her brother will kill him when they learned that they have just been attacked by the enemies. He did promised to protect her so it is only natural for Sehun to beat him especially since he knew that if his boss and his friends didn't come on time the two of them are history.

How troublesome.

The group reached a small house, Kyungsoo opened the door and went inside followed by Jongdae, Chanyeol, Soojung, Jongin and Junmyun.

Soojung thought that there's nothing special in that house, in fact it doesn't seem to have any living creature inside but they continued to proceed and Kyungsoo lead them to the kitchen, he turned the faucet on but in counterclockwise. A faint click echoed throughout the house then a trapdoor in front of them appeared from the floor. Chanyeol jumps down flickering the lights on then everybody followed. After several minutes of walking through the narrow passageway, they reached another door and Kyungsoo stops in front of it, he cleared his throat first before saying "Your Majesty King Jung."

Soojung flinched in hearing this. It has been 8 years since she heard that title. Jongin noticed her reaction, he knew what it meant to her and he suddenly have this strange urge to comfort her though he knew she's tough and probably doesn't need his comfort.

But still it's making him uneasy.  

The door opened and they came face to face with none other than Sehun.

"Sis!" he called out, grabbing Soojung inside and looking at her from head to toe. "Are you alright?"

Sooyeon came into view from Sehun's back. "Are you okay, Soojung?"

"How did you....?" Soojung was shocked.

"Captain Minseok got a message from one of the revolutionist near the market. Tell us exactly what happened." Sehun pulled her to the sofa at the corner of the room.

They all followed behind, Jongin remained quiet as he scans the room, aside from Sehun and Sooyeon, another man was also with them. Jongin knew him from his childhood. It had actually surprised him that he only just remember him. He probably doesn't remember him though. After all it's been years since Minseok and Jongin knew each other.

Soojung told them what happened, from the moment they sensed the presence of the puppets following them to the arrival of the Elites and Kyungsoo's group. Part of her doesn't want to give the elaborate details because even to her it sounded like they were in distress and needs to be rescued and that's the last thing she needed. It would be hard enough to convince her siblings to let her join the revolution without these threats in her life.

They remained quiet and listened to her as she told them what happened but every now and then she noticed Sehun will remove his gaze at her and look at Jongin's direction.

Is it just me or is he glaring at Jongin?

Because it would not make any sense. Jongin had nothing to do with the sudden attacks, it was Soojung they wanted harm and not the knight from a different kingdom. Ever since her brother and her sister's appearance at the opening of the Jung Bathhouse, Soojung's been readying herself to any possible attacks. She's ready to face them and even more determined to fight for the revolution.

Sooyeon sighed in relief when Soojung finished. "It is indeed strange for the Elites to fallback in the middle of a fight but thank goodness that no harm was done."
