Chapter 21
The Jung Siblings
Like a wildfire, news about the Jung Siblings or the Silla Siblings, as what the citizens of Silla calls them, had spread throughout the entire village. The three children of the former king were reunited once more after so many years, joining forces leading the revolution against the tyrant Yansoo.
The events from last night's battle had circulated. People had started taking sides but majority are rooting for the Jung bloodline to be back as the rightful ruler of Silla.
Later that night the government had released a degree to punish everyone spreading, talking or even thinking of the revolution and will be persecuted. This left the people in fear, forcing them to keep quiet for their own safety. But dozens of the villagers were caught and the following day will be their scheduled persecution.
After learning this, the revolutionist who call themselves Jung's Army or simply JA, immediately took action. Sooyeon, Sehun and Soojung had released a mission to rescue those people.
It was a successful mission led by Junmyun and Chanyeol.
But the JA didn't stop there. Now bolder because of Soojung's cunning plans and strategies, they had turned the war into their favor.

The Jung Army had been gaining tremendous victories on their encounter with the government. Numerous defense and military sites of the government were destroyed including the laboratories where the puppets were stored, preventing Yansoo to reprogram and activate them once more.
Each day they are getting closer to their goal.
The enemy knows it. And that led them to offer an agreement.
A public notice were posted to every house and building in the whole kingdom, with Yansoo's personal handwriting and signature. Baem brought it to the meeting early in the morning.
"A duel?!" Soojung shrieks.
Jongdae had laid down the public notice at the center of the table for everyone to see.
"Not just a simple duel .... but a duel to the death." says Jongdae.
Jongin reads the notice silently, trying to read between the lines. He had a very bad feeling about this. "Demon Desert... Where is this place?"
"It's one of the deserts within the border, just a little off coast to Silla. Of all the deserts, Demon Desert is the most dangerous one. No wonder he choose that as the venue of the duel." says Captain Minseok.
"Don't tell me you're going to agree to this?" says Junmyun.
Nobody answered him, all were in deep thoughts, thoroughly deliberating the situation.
"He specified his desired opponent." Jongin broke the silence.
" 'Ruler for a ruler'." Kyungsoo reads.
"You mean...." Chanyeol can't seem to continue his rap, he looks around him only to find them all looking at Sooyeon.
"No!" Sehun slams his hands in the table. "I am not giving Sooyeon and besides we are not agreeing to this shit!"
"But it says here whoever wins the duel will be the new ruler." says Jongdae.
"But we can't be sure if he will honor it. Or if his men will really surrender if Sooyeon won the duel. There's no guarantee to it." says Baem.
"This is a public notice, every single one of the villagers must have read about this by now and I doubt that this is just a bluff. I know Yansoo, he stand by his word." says Yixing.
