A Knight

"I'll explain everything but first ... Who the hell is he?" he turn his gaze back to Jongin.

Soojung wipes her tears with the back of her hand and faced Jongin.

"This is Kim Jongin, he's a tenant here."

"Tenant?! You let him live here?!"

Soojung sighed. "It's a long story."

"Got a problem with that?" It's the first time Jongin said anything since the arrival of this man.

The man named Sehun started advancing towards him but Soojung holds him in place. Jongin's ready though, he had his fist balled up on his sides.

"No fighting." she said to him as she holds his sleeves then she faced Jongin. "And you, don't be a smart ass. He owns the house too. He's Jung Sehun ...... my brother."

" .....your ...brother?"

For some reason Jongin kinda felt relieved. He fought the smile that's making it's way to his lips.

"Yes. Got a problem with that?" Sehun said, mimicking his early remark.

But he didn't wait for a reply, he turn his face to Soojung again, looking more concern than he was when he arrived. "What were you thinking, sis? You can't just let random strangers live with you."

"Relax, it's okay. Jongin's fine. In fact, he's the reason why I'm still here." says Soojung.

"What do you mean?" Sehun asks.

"That devil Yansoo made a deal with Mr. S and gave our land title to him. A few weeks ago Mr. S wants me out of the house but Jongin won it back."

"He won it back?"

"I'll explain later. I need to know what happened to you first."

Jongin have no intention to be an audience while the brother and sister are catching up with their lives. As quietly as he can, he slipped out of the living room and went to his room. It doesn't take a genius to notice that the two siblings were talking about some pretty serious stuffs and Jongin is just honoring their second house rule.

He drops his body on the bed. His body might be a little tired from all the cleaning but his mind is still busy thinking of a particular woman.

Back at the living room, Soojung sat down at the sofa with Sehun. She still can't believe that her brother is back after so many years.

"What exactly happened?" she's hungry to know the details.

"It's starting, sis. .....the revolution."

"I kind of have a feeling..... Mr. S never leaves the kingdom that long. Hyeran told me he's been absent from the Casino for more than a week now. I know it's pretty bad but never have guessed that it's really happening."

"It took a long while. I managed to get information on her whereabouts but Yansoo's men captured me. They took me to a cave far from here, they hold me there like a hostage for almost 3 years but I know from the start that they have no intention of killing me."

"But I managed to escape and I have stumbled upon the rebels that are still on our side. They are recruiting more people as we speak. Soon enough we will be able to overthrow Yansoo." says Sehun, determination in his eyes.

"I wanna join too."

"No, sis. It's too dangerous." he protest.

"You think I can just sit here while my brother is out there fighting?!"
