Ever since the fight with Jasper, Amethyst had changed immensely. Not only was she poofed but she also was more serious, something Pearl and Garnet had never seen happen to her before. Even Steven noticed and was hanging out with her more to keep her busy.

"You should really go talk to her," Garnet said to Pearl as Steven and Amethyst left the house.

"Why me?" Pearl asked.

"Because I'm not the best with these situations," Garnet explained, "And she'll listen to you."

"Listen to me?" Pearl chuckled a bit, "Have you actually met Amethyst?"

"I'm serious," Garnet insisted, "You two have been getting along better nowadays. I think if you talked to her about what's wrong, maybe you two could strengthen your bond."

"You think so?" Pearl asked hopefully. Garnet nodded. Pearl stared off at where Amethyst had gone.

Garnet nodded. The two decided they should act soon so Pearl planned on talking to Amethyst once she got home.

Strangely enough though when Steven came home, he came back with Connie. Not Amethyst.

"Oh hello," Pearl greeted when the two walked into the room.

"Hey Pearl!" Connie smiled. Steven said hi too before the two ran upstairs, multiple books in hand. Pearl chuckled a bit.

"Have you two seen Amethyst lately?" Pearl called up to them.

"She said she was going to hang out with Vidalia," Steven said, "That was a few minutes ago though."

"Thanks," Pearl smiled gratefully and went outside for some fresh air. This is good, Pearl reassured herself, Vidalia and her were always close. Maybe she can get Amethyst to loosen up.

Pearl sat outside with a cup of tea staring up at the sky enjoying the view. She had been outside for a while when she saw Vidalia walking towards the temple. No Amethyst.

"Hey Pearl," Vidalia greeted.

"Hello," Pearl responded although she was slightly anxious. Where was Amethyst?

"Sorry for stopping by with no warning," Vidalia explained, "But Amethyst came by my house earlier acting weird and I wanted to make sure she's ok."

"You mean she isn't with you?" Pearl asked.

"No she left like two hours ago," Vidalia admitted, "Is everything alright with you guys?"

Pearl looked around worriedly before her gaze landed on Vidalia and she composed herself, "Thank you for telling me. We'll look for her and tell her you stopped by."

"Alright," Vidalia seemed skeptical but didn't question her. As soon as she walked away Pearl went inside to the warp pad. She told Steven and Connie she'd be back and warped to the one place she could think Amethyst might go.
