Dearest readers...our very long journey is finally coming to an end. It is said that a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. I am grateful for the decision to start this story. It was inspired by something and someone close to my heart. Thank you for your votes, comments and for taking your sacrificing your quality time to read my book. Words cannot fully express my sincere gratitude and joy each time I see a star, a comment and a new follower. I am truly blessed. You remain blessed too. Here is our last chapter.

Attorney Motsumi was sweating profusely in his three piece Dolce and Gabanna suit. He paced around his medium sized office more worried than the time he had his first case he took as an associate. Lorato's suicide attempt was not exactly unexpected but it happened too soon. The crazy girl could have at least waited till the trial began. Her parents would not be able to continue paying for his valuable services if this drama drags on.

The statements of Kgosi and Desire didn't help things either. Loyal friends indeed! They could not even spin a good story to save the day. "Lorato will not go down alone." He vowed to himself.

Just then the door of his office opened. He was about to curse at the person who didn't have the decency to knock when recognition hit him...very hard. Standing before him was his arch enemy...okay maybe that was harsh. Attorney Smith was a nightmare on any court day. Both were too good and their face off was usually cold, tense and war like. Unfortunately once again he is the public prosecutor for the case.

Attorney Motsumi forced a smile. "What brings you to my humble playground ?"

"When the case landed on my table...I knew it was what I needed to show you that the last case you won was because you were lucky."

"Why are you here Smith ?" Motsumi asked in the best respectful voice he could muster under such circumstances.

Smith closed the door gently and invited himself to sit. He crossed his legs making himself comfortable as if he owned the place.

"I just came to inform my learned colleague that your low and dirty trick will not stop me from sending that maniac to life imprisonment."

Realising that his greatest opponent was referring to his client's suicide attempt, he chuckled to himself. He walked to his seat and sat down.

"You are wrong once again. I don't need low and dirty tricks to win my cases. It is all a matter of wisdom Attorney." He smiled confidently and asked him to leave.

"Ms. Mosimanegape will get life imprisonment so when things get hot in the courtroom, don't come crawling to me begging for petty deals."

"Don't worry Attorney. That time will not come." Before Smith could reply, the door swings open and a middle aged Indian woman walked in led by Motsumi's Secretary.

She looked confident in a red two piece elbow length suit, black stiletto, red lipsticks and her dark hair flowing down her shoulders in glorious curls. Both men looked at her in appreciation of her great looks and quickly stood up.

"I am sorry for coming unannounced gentlemen. I am Dr. Chandra." An angelic voice too.

Attorney Smith wondered where the unlucky jerk knew this goddess from while Motsumi wondered where she knew him from.

"I am here to see Attorney Motsumi."

Motsumi quickly walked around his table and shook hands with her. He quickly turned to his rival in law, smiled and said,
