The Misadventures of me

Oh my God!

Riley's POV

Me and Cam walk in the building, and met up with Josh.

"Hey, Joshie." I say teasing

"Hey, Ri." He replies

"Sup, man." He speaks to Cameron

"Guess what." He says

"What?" I ask

"My team has a game today!" He replies excitedly

"Oh! that's great." I yell hugging him

"Yeah, well we are the Panther's finest soccer players." He states

"Oh cool, we will totally go." I say

"Really? That's awesome of you guys." Josh says smiling

"Well I got to go." Josh says

"Where?" I ask

"Oh, the team has practice all day, no classes what so ever." he replies

"Wow, sweet dude." Cameron says

"Yeah, see you guys at the game, and it's at four pm so don't be late." Josh says while making his way out.

"So, we're both going huh?" Cameron asks

"Oh sorry, I kinda just said we as habit I guess, you don't have to go if you don't wanna." I reply hoping he still wants to go.

"No, it's fine, I wanna go. It's a date." Cameron says

"Date?" I ask

"By date I meant time spent together." He replies smiling showing his white teeth

"Oh ok." I reply smiling too, and walking to my next class.

"See you Cam." I say walking away

I walk to French class and I'm greeted by Jamie and Jonathan

"Hey, sis" Jonathan says

"Sup, bro" I reply

"So for the project we should get like French toast and fries." Jonathan states

"There's way more French food than that." I say giggling

"Yeah, I know that but those are the only ones I like." he replies

"Well how about Jonathan focuses on the food part and me and you and work on a poster talking about it." Jamie says

"Yeah, that's actually a great idea." I say in agreement

"Yeah, that's my girl." Jonathan replies wrapping his arm around her

"She's not your's yet Jonny." I say

"Yeah, whatever." he replies in defeat

"So me and Riley and work on the project tonight at your house." Jamie says

"Yeah, that'll work you can do it in my room." Jonathan says winking at her

"Jonathan stop being a creep." I say laughing at his failed attempts

*bell rings*

"Well I better go, don't wanna be late for gym." Jamie states waving goodbye and walking out

"So homecoming's tomorrow, you going?" Jonathan asks

"I was gonna but not anymore." I reply

"Oh too bad, but anyways I gotta get going too before Professor Calmacus loses it." He says

"See ya at home, loser." I say laughing

"Same too you, lame-o." he replies laughing as well

I walk out and dread that my next class is algebra because I know Anthony is gonna be there. Hopefully he can just forget about the whole thing. What are you saying Riley, how could he forget about a fight and getting rejected to homecoming. Now that's just something that stays with you. I walk into class and notice he's not there in his usual seat. That's strange, maybe he didn't come today.

I daydream the rest of class and it's finally over, I look at my watch that says 3:50 pm. I better head out to go to Josh's game. I walk out and find Cameron by the vending machine.

"Hey, you ready to go?" I ask

"Yeah, lemme just get some skittles." he replies. I thought he was gonna put in a dollar like every other normal person, but no Cameron is Cameron. He shook the machine like no tomorrow and finally got his skittles.

"Nice technique." I say

"Thanks, it's a skill." He replies smiling

We make it to the large field and see the teams getting ready. 5 minutes later the game starts and I see them all kick the ball. 'Oh my' I think as I see Anthony is on the team. That's why he wasn't in class today! I never really got into soccer like Josh, it seemed kinda boring to me, but Of course I would watch it for my best friend.20 minutes in the game our team is up by a lot of points. Next thing I see is Anthony ramming into someone, it looked like it was on purpose. I scream when I realize who it is...

"Oh my God!" I yell

I run down the bleachers and Cameron follows me. I go onto the field, even though I wasn't supposed to, and run to Josh. He is on the ground and he's surrounded by his teammates. I barge through the circle and go to his aid.

"Hey! You can't be on he field!" the coach yells, I obviously ignore him.

Josh's leg was broken and he was screaming with pain in his voice.

"The paramedics are on their way!" the principle yells

"It's ok Josh, you're gonna be fine." I say trying to coax him. The ambulance gets there early and put Josh on a gurney, I follow until a paramedic tells me I can't get on the ambulance. I lose it. I start screaming, and going off. Cameron finally decides to wrap his arm around me holding me back.

"Let me go Cam!" I yell

"He's gonna be ok Ri, just calm down." Cameron says in a calming voice

I start crying and Cameron tightens his hug not letting me go for anything. I finally calm down in the arms of Cameron, and he makes me feel better.
