Chapter 14

*Avery's P.O.V*

Wow. Isn't this Tower just flipping wonderful. It's strict and as there secretary they have so many events for 3 fucking vampires! there's an event after event that I have to schedule. Fucking hell!

I have a day off. FINALLY! and I'm going to the shops. First fucking day off since two months ago.

I walked out of the door of the lobby and out to the streets. I hailed a taxi and told them to bring me to London where the best shops were.

In London. Such a beautiful place might I add, and one of my favourites. Sam's here as Harry's (of course) working on the babies room.

They're such cute little creatures. Yesterday I went with Sam and Mandy to go see her babies and they are the most cutest things I have ever seen. The girl looks more like Harry and the boy looks like both of them.

I walked around town and though about going into a few stores but declined knowing that I should eat before I go because.... well.. it's my thing ok don't judge.

I walked into a McDonald's, the closest thing around, and waited to order. Busy. All I have to say is that it's busy today, I thought as I looked around.

The line moved up a few people and I adjusted my blue beanie before ordering.

"Hello how may I help you?" A young girl asked.

"Hi, yes can I have a Big Mac, large fries, a medium coke and.... a McFlurry please." I then looked back at the cashier. She nodded as she punched everything in. She told me my price and I paid then stepped aside to wait.

"Wow that's a lot for a girl your size." I looked beside me to see a young bloke about the age of 18. He was about 5 9" with died blond hair. Very cute.

"Oh no, this is nothing, I just need a small amount so I can go hit the shops.

He smiled a crooked toothed grin.

"Really? oh where's manners, I'm Niall, Niall Horan." he stuck out his hand for me to shake. I did as implied.

"I'm Avery, Avery Winter." I shook his hand.

"Pretty name." he was interrupted by my order finishing.

I grabbed my try but was stopped by Niall.

"Wait please." I smiled at him and placed my try back down and waited for him to finish ordering.

"Do you mind if I join you?" Niall asked.

"I don't mind at all. I could actually use the company." I smiled and fixed my beanie.

"You remind me a lot of my mate Harry with that beanie on." he chuckled a bit.

"Harry? as in Styles?"

"Yes. You know him?" he was handed his meal and he followed me to a seat, siting across from me.

"My friend Sam is dating him actually."

"Sam! no way! why haven't we ever met up before?" I took a bit of my hamburger.

"Well you see I just met her and Mandy about a month before she found out she was pregnant. And I have been in training as a secretary."

"I see. Well I'm glad we met up." he smiled then took a bit of his hamburger.

"Same! you seem like a great lad Niall." he nodded with a mouth full telling me he agrees.

"Hey wait... your a.. vampire right?" he whispered the last part.

"Um...yes.. why?" I asked hesitantly.

"Well vampires can't handle human food.." he starred at me.

"Really? I never knew that."

"Do you feel sick? " he asked.

"No not at all actually, I feel fine."

"Are you full vampire? What were your parents?"

"Well my mom was human and I was turned the night I met Sam and Mandy."

"What about your dad?"

"I never met my dad."

"Really?" Niall swallowed a mouth full or fries.

"Really. I never met him or seen him. Ever." I confirmed.

"Well how about on Saturday you could come to my place and we can find out who he is." Niall offered.

"Yeah! That sounds brilliant!" I smiled.

"Then it's set. " it's like time froze and we were just starring at each other smiling for a long time.

I think I'm starting to like him...
