Chapter 27~ CAT!!

Stampy's pov

Sqaishey was behind me, I was ready to turn the key.... we had come to Sqaishey's appartment, ready to pack her things, and pay her rent. But he heard a rustle noise coming from inside... I told Sqaishey to stand behind me, as I was going to see the problem. I'm only happy I was able to catch her before she came in here all by herself. Then I heard her say something, I turned around, and she looked adorable! Scared, but adorable! She must have caught on that I didn't hear her, as she repeated it. She asked "Stampy, would you take a bullet for me?" Without hesitation, I replied "Yes, of course I would." I stroked her cheek, and she smiled so big, then it got me wondering... I asked "Would you take a bullet for me?" She replied "Yes, without a second thought." We hugged, until I realized we should probably take care of the appartment issue. I turned around, this time, I was ready to see what was behind this door. I turned the key, and I flung the door back. Sqaishey jumped a little, and I ran inside screaming like a mad man.... But inside.... we found a cat. It was sitting down, licking it's paws, then it stopped, and tilted it's head to see us. It was curious as to why I flung back the door, and had started screaming. There was silence... then Sqaishey and I collapsed onto the floor in laughter! We rolled around laughing holding our stomachs, and Sqaishey started teasing me saying "YOU-YOU-YOU WERE SCARED OF A CAT!!!" Then I said back "YOU WERE SCARED TOO!!! YOU WERE SAYING WE'D TAKE BULLETS FOR EACH OTER!!" Then she said "YOU SCREAMED! YOU WERE SCARED OF YOUR OWN SPECIES YOU SILLY SCARDY CAT!" Then we just rolled on the floor, laughing like mad people. Then we just layed on the floor. Staring at the ceiling. Then, the cat meowed. And it sat on top of me, and curried into a ball. Sqaishey turned around to see it, and she 'awwed.' Then the cat started to purr. And Sqaishey started asking "Can we keep it Stampy? Please can we keep it?" Then I looked at the cat, and back at her, and I said "Well, we should take it to the vet, and see if anyone lost it, and check if it has its' vaccinations." She nodded, and smiled. We were looking into each other's eyes, when the lift doors opened, and in came a bald man with glasses, and papers. He saw us on the floor, and asked in a demanding voice "Why are you two here?! Are both of you illiterate?! The sign says 'NO PETS ALLOWED!' Why can't you two pipe down!" Sqaishey started turning pale, and we both sat up, I still held the cat, and I said "I apologize sir, but we were here to pay the rent, and pack the things in here, then to move out. We did not see the sign sir, we will take our cat, and leave." He nodded his head, and said "Pack your things, and I'll wait downstairs in my office." I said in reply, "Thank you sir." He didn't say anything, he just turned around, and got back in the lift, and he left. When he left, Sqaishey and I got up, shut the door, and started packing things, while the cat sat in a corner, watching us.

~ Time Skip~

When we finished packing, Sqaishey went down the lift to pay her rent, while I grabbed the boxes, and hailed a cab. We had one spare box, in which we put the cat in, we left the top flaps open, so the cat could breathe. The cat didn't seem to mind. It just kept purring and sticking it's head out the box. While I carried the boxes to the lobby, I carried the box with the cat in it.

Sqaishey's pov

It was quite easy paying the rent, I wanted to move out, and the land lord let me. It was good I didn't sign a contract! On my way out of his office, I thought of how happy I was to be moving in with Stampy! I saw him standing outside the office, holding only the box with the cat poking it's head out. It is a rather pretty cat! Not Stampy... although, he IS cute...hey! Don't judge! I giggled, and I pet the cat. Then I asked Stampy "Are the other boxes in the cab?" He nodded, and said "Yes." I nodded, and asked "Should we go to the vet first, and see if it belongs to anyone, and check if it has its vaccinations?" He said "Well yeah, we should go now." I nodded and said "K." Then we left the building, and got in the cab.
